Alfaliquid Review

Today we have a look at a few flavors from a French brand called Alfaliquid. Let's find out how they compare to American-made e-juice.

Alfaliquid Intro

Recently I discovered a new French e-liquid brand called Alfaliquid. Their packaging looks very mature and clinical if I had to sum it up it in two words. Right off the bat, I noticed that each nic strength is indicated by either a light or dark-colored top. I received it in 3 mg.

I am excited to try some of these fruity flavors. I can already smell the pineapple as soon as I open the box. It is fascinating to see foreign brands try to compete with the vast US e-liquid market. How does it compare to juice brewed in the good ol’ US of A? It’s time to find out….

Notable Remarks

Alfaliquid’s juices are available in 0 mg, 3 mg, 6 mg, 11 mg (I know right?) and 16 mg nicotine strengths. Each level is indicated by a graduated color system. The higher the nic level, the darker the top of the bottle will be. Their e-liquids are all 50/50 blends and only available in 30 mL.

Our Setup

For this review I used one of my favorite setups to date. The OG Twisted Messes sitting on top of the SOI Shorty. I am using a SS316 dual-coil setup ohming out to about .15. Let’s see how this juice does on a super sub-ohm setup like mine.

Our E-liquid Review

Alpine Menthe

Easily one of the strongest menthol flavors I have ever tried. This isn’t just a mint bubblegum flavor, this stuff is the real thing. You literally feel like you are inhaling pure peppermint oil. It can be overwhelming at first, but then again I was using it on a super sub-ohm setup.

I would recommend using this flavor with more of a mouth-to-lung tank or blending it with your other flavors to add a little menthol kick to them. This stuff is essentially the Altoids of e-juice.

Alfaliquid doesn’t mess around with cute and fancy titles for their juice. Rather, they sum it up in one or two words. This name says it all. Carnival reminds me of a fruity, slightly creamy candy. You can definitely taste the banana coupled with some tangy candy fruity goodness.

This is one of my favorites of the bunch. I can vape this all day. It has a little bit of something for everyone. There is also a unique complexity to this juice that makes it taste unlike any other flavor I have tried. If you like that pure-sugar candy taste, then definitely try Carnival.

This is also one of my personal favorites of the five that were sent to me. It smells like fresh pineapple, blended with a bunch of other tropical fruits. If you have ever tried the NKTR line, it reminds me a bit of the Mango one, with a hint of guava, pineapple and fresh strawberry.

Another all-day-vape for the fruit lover. Unlike Carnival, this one is not a candy flavor. It takes the fresh taste of tangy tropical fruit and blended to the perfect combination of sweetness. Tropical is the perfect name for this e-liquid, Alfaliquid summed it up in one word again.

Noble Leaf

Noble leaf isn’t just your ordinary tobacco flavor. It’s not too sweet, but incorporates notes of dark chocolate. I personally think it is one of the best tobacco e-liquids I have ever vaped. It smells a little bit funky from the bottle, not gonna lie, but it tastes great for a tobacco e-liquid.

I discovered that you can actually mix the Noble Leaf with Alpine Menthe and it becomes an awesome menthol-tobacco flavor. The chocolate and mint blend so well together it reminds me of those mint M&M’s. I highly recommend this combo, just go very easy on the menthol.

Milk Berry

I will start by saying that I am just burnt out on creamy berry flavors in general. That being said, I realize that there is still a huge demand for Unicorn Milk and other similar creamy e-liquids. If you want a fresh berry combined with the taste of milk, then give Alfaliquid’s Milk Berry a shot.

I personally did not like this one. I am not a fan of berry cream to begin with so this did not thrill me, as expected. It wasn’t bad, but not something that I would vape often. I still would love to know your thoughts if you have ever tried this flavor. Leave us a comment below!

Bartlett Apple

Only a few days before trying this e-liquid I was visiting a friend and he had a pear flavor by a brand called Vape Kitchen I believe. Similar to that flavor, this one has that natural pear flavor combined with freshly-picked apples. If you like apples or pears, this one is definitely for you.

There is really not much else to say about this juice. It delivers exactly what it is meant to. Alfaliquid knows how to capture that fresh fruit taste, and this flavor is proof of that. If you are tired of candy imitations of fruit, then you should give Alfaliquid a try, it’s straight outta France!

Alfaliquid’s packaging and labeling is on point. I love the idea of using a graduated color system for indicating nic levels. I am surprised more brands haven’t done this already. The nicotine was very smooth in 3mg and best of all, this stuff did not gunk up my coils or cotton one bit!

Look out California! France is pumping out some high quality e-juice that has its own unique blends. If you are looking for something different, give it a shot. They are not reinventing the wheel, but creating damn good flavors that can all potentially become your next all-day-vape.
