Welcome to Vaping360’s monthly “handcheck” feature. Every month, the Vaping360 team will write a bit about the vape gear they’ve been enjoying on their personal time. These are not subjective reviews, but personal accounts of the vaping hardware and e-liquids that are making the Vaping360 team happy. After you’ve checked out each writer’s picks for the month, please feel free to post a handcheck of your favorite setup in the comments section.
I love putting my face on mods. It’s more than a little silly, but I find it endlessly entertaining. I have Caravela, Nemesis, and King mods with my face on it. The latest in my “Me” collection is a custom Varitube Renegade RGX II. It sports the excellent YiHi SX350J v2 chip for great accuracy and versatility.
The e-liquid in my hand is Dragon by Dr. Mike’s Rad Vapors. I’m a fan of several of the company’s flavors, but this one is my favorite. It’s a delicious blend of dragon fruit and mangosteen. The latter is one of my favorite fruits in the world and fairly uncommon in vaping e-liquids. I love getting sublime mangosteen flavor without having to go to Southeast Asia. Though I am due for a trip….
I will be honest with you, I have been pretty caught up in the #mechlife as of late. Many of you have seen this from my weekly Facebook handchecks. When I am not using my mechs, you will probably find me rocking the Wolf. I know it has its quirks, but even so, I just love the thing.
On top of that, I have the Mutation XS which is working like a charm, despite the fact that at some point it got run over by a skateboard. I wasn’t crazy about the atty when I first bought it, but since then I have mastered the wicking for it and have been getting a great vape with minimal spitback!
I still have my favorites, but lately I have been exploring many new flavors. This one happens to be a homemade DIY concoction made by my buddy Jacob. The juice is peanut-butter apple pie, a rather unique combination. I am almost done with the 60 ml he sent me just last week!
It was so good, that I vaped it all weekend before realizing that it actually contained 0 mg of nicotine!
The PAX 2 LE is everything that I had hoped it would be, and more. This is not only an incredible dry herb vaporizer, it’s actually entertaining! Plus, with this new limited edition, I now have one in my favorite color. Electric blue!
Setting aside the body color and some of its cool (and hidden) features, the PAX 2 consistently delivers the goods in a way that is easy to easy to achieve. I remember back when I first tried a PAX, I barely exhaled any vapor but the hit was still incredibly satisfying. After getting my own PAX 2, I quickly realized that, by dry herb vaporizer standards, this bad boy produces a nice amount of vapor when it’s packed optimally and kept clean.
I clean mine after every few sessions, costing me a total of, maybe, a few minutes each time. The reward is incredible! With a clean vapor path, mouthpiece, and oven door, the PAX is more than capable of putting you on your backside. I just wipe down and clean all removable parts with alcohol-moistened cotton buds/tips, and occasionally I have to “floss” my vapor path with a pipe cleaner wetted (but not dripping) with alcohol.
With those simple cleanings, my PAX 2 performs fantastically!
I’m not generally a fan of USB-charged LiPo battery mods, but I just reviewed the Innokin Disrupter with a C50 power pack, so I’ve been using it enjoyably, mostly because I really like the Innokin Axiom Tank. The Axiom is a terrific low-power sub-ohm tank. Terrific flavor at a mere 33 watts.
