Black Mamba Intro

Ok, it’s Black Mamba time! We recently reviewed a portable dry herb and concentrates vaporizer called the Black Widow. The Black Mamba might be made by the same manufacturer although it isn’t indicated anywhere on the packaging. In any event, here we have a $26 dry herb vaporizer!

If you have been doing your research, then you probably already know that the best vaporizers cost at least a hundred bucks. The better ones can go anywhere from $150 to well over $300, and I’m only talking about the portables. Don’t even ask how much some of these desktop vapes cost!

Price

The Black Mamba vaporizer is actually listed at Efun.top for $222 dollars, with 50% off, making it $111. However, if you use the promotional code “Mamba” you can get it today for only $25.99! Try and wrap your head around that one.

Thoughts

Here we go again, putting another budget vape for dry herb to the test. The Black Mamba, unlike the Black Widow does not have an option for concentrates. It has a unique slim design with a rubber coating on the outside. It almost reminds me of an oversized Micro G-Pen or something.

If that was the Micro G, then this should be called the Macro G. Either way, let’s see how it vapes.

I know you can’t wait to find out the verdict, but don’t scroll down just yet! There are some notable features on the Black Mamba that you are going to want to know about. For example, it has a ceramic chamber that holds a little over a half a gram. It also has five different heat settings.

Performance

Black-Mamba

Flavor baby! Everyone knows ceramic chambers deliver some of the best flavor you can get on a portable vape. (If you didn’t know that, then you probably haven’t been reading our reviews.) The flavor I’m getting off this badboy is very nice and is comparable to the Cloud V Diamond vaporizer.

The Black Mamba also uses a glass mouthpiece which like ceramic, is very conducive to flavor.

You really need to pack this thing. The difference is day and night. Since this is a conduction vape, it will not put out dense vapor if you underpack it. My first session was a little bit of a letdown, but once I stopped being cheap with my flowers, I was getting good performance out of the Mamba.

The vapor production is decent, especially when you crank it up all the way. The issue then is that the vapor will get a bit harsh and the flavor will diminish. I’d recommend using the Black Mamba on the middle heat settings, to achieve a good balance between flavor and vapor production.

The battery life is not quite as good as the Black Widow, but you still get three or four 15-minute sessions out of a full charge, depending on which heat setting you are using. Obviously more heat is gonna use more power. The Black Mamba’s internal battery is rated 1600mAh, not too shabby.

Verdict

All in all, the Black Mamba delivers! If you are looking to get into vaping dry herb instead of smoking it, don’t sleep on the Mamba. I recently reviewed and recommended the Black Widow but if you are looking for something a little bit more portable, and five dollars cheaper, then this is it!

I really don’t think we are going to see another vaporizer come out that is much cheaper than the Black Mamba for a while. Aside from the price, this thing actually does what it is supposed to do; it vaporizes dry herb and delivers clouds of tasty flavor. What more can you ask for from a vape?

Of course this isn’t going to beat out the PAX, or anything in that price range. But if you are on a budget and want to make the switch to a better lifestyle, then this could be the move for you… It makes me glad to see that herb vaporizers are finally more accessible, available and inexpensive!

Giving it a try, can’t pass up a deal like this. Nice review, I’ll post back with an update once it arrives.

Thanks for reading, Talon. Dave and I were both a bit shocked at this unit and price. I hope it is the same for you. Worse case scenario, it’s a beater unit. Best case scenario is it saves people a hefty chunk of change for a piece that will work as a main unit.

If I hadn’t tried any other vaporizer before this one, I don’t know that I would ever rush to pay hundreds of dollars.
