DRPN NUMRLS Intro
DRPNvape.com, the company that helped usher in the donut craze with DRPN Donuts, has released a new line of eliquids. This line is all 70 VG and the flavors are billed as “timeless”.
Look, I’ve been vaping for over five years, so, when I read the word “timeless”, I was definitely intrigued because too many eliquid products now are simply hot-for-the-minute and become passe in a few months.
Let’s have a crack at these two new flavors from DRPNvape.com and see if there really is anything ‘timeless’ about them.
Ratio: 70 VG/30 PG
For this review I will be vaping NUMRLS out of my Sub-Zero RDA on my RX200. I built the RDA with a dual-coil macro build, using 24 gauge kanthal and a 3|4 spaced-wrap on a 3/16 drill bit with a resistance of .25Ω. I have the RX200 set to 85 watts.
Our E-Liquid Review
DRPNvape NUMRLS N.1
Bold yet subtly sweet tobacco inhale with a smooth, creamy exhale.
As soon as I opened up this bottle I was transported to another time in my vaping journey . . . and that is a good thing! This is a bonafied 555 flavor (a nutty tobacco based on the State Express cigarettes) that used to be all the rage. This almost reminds me of Halocigs Prime 15, but, to me, this is FAR better.
N.1 is a nutty tobacco with a prominent taste and a VERY flavorful impact. The creaminess of N.1 is so smooth that I do find it to be the perfect all-day vape. Nutty, very creamy and sweet enough to take the edge off the nuttiness, but not so much that it takes away from the tobacco taste. And the tobacco has become more and more prominent with each passing day. Overall, this liquid is not terribly complex, but it is definitely sophisticated and mature. Good stuff.
DRPNvape NUMRLS N.5
Almond inhale with a milky, dessert-reminiscent exhale
I abhor almond flavor in vapes, at least I typically do. I don’t mind ‘nutty’ per se, but almond is something that turns me off in eliquid. Initially when I got these liquids I kept N.5 sealed because I enjoyed N.1 so much that I was afraid of ruining the trip. Well, N.5 is just as good (to me) as N.1. Go figure!
N.5 is a remarkable dessert flavor, plain and simple! Its decadent but not heavy. The aroma of this liquid is spectacular and taste is extremely flavorful, yet delicate in its individual components. N.5 is a sweet cream and almond flavor, but I get much more sweet cream than I do almond. The almond provides an earthy complexity to the sweet cream whilst not taking it over and being obnoxious. The almond presents itself on the lingering taste, and the sweet cream is all on the exhale.
The DRPNvape NUMRLS line currently only consists of two flavors, and they are symbiotic in nature. I can imagine if you like one that you will may like both; on the flipside, if you don’t like one you may not like the other. I just so happen to love both. If I was forced to choose, I’d just have to flip a coin as to which is my favorite.
So are they “timeless”? Not that I really even know what that means, but I can say they’ve been all-day vapes (so far) and they do taste like an honest-to-god effort at creating something that will withstand the test of time. It remains to be seen how long I will vape these, but, as of now, I will vape these bottles bone dry.
Just a side note: Being a reviewer can seem like a cool gig until you get swamped with wack products and nasty liquids. No BS, sometimes I get liquids that are so terrible that I can’t review them . . . because I REFUSE to vape them! Other times, though, the gig does have its perks. This was one of those times.
