Beginner to an expert in an instant
The IKEN Kit is KangerTech’s newest vape setup; consisting of the powerful IKEN Box Mod and the revolutionary IKEN tank.
This attractive setup is instantly recognizable as a KangerTech offering, with the brand consistently opting for bright, bold colors in recent designs.
The mod itself features a large, front-facing, thin film translator (TFT) color LCD display screen that is vibration resistant and has a relatively conservative power consumption given its generous size. In addition, with this device, KangerTech has also included a 510 connector that is compatible with atomizer pins of up to 7 mm in length and 25 mm in diameter, with ease.
The curved zinc-alloy chassis houses a massive 5100 mAh internal battery that delivers a top power output of 230 watts and supports longer vaping times and a noticeably extended standby capacity.
The included IKEN Tank features a stainless-steel body measuring 24 mm x 36 mm and claims a 100% leak-proof design that has been extensively field tested in over 500 independent tests to support this claim.
Another feature of this design is the “U” airflow technology, where airflow enters the chamber via two adjustable air intakes at the top and is then channeled down the sides and around the coils forming a “U” shape. Apparently, this design produces a more intense flavor experience and massive vapor production; a feature that is further enhanced with the inclusion of a wide bore drip tip.
Operating modes include power mode, temperature control mode and TCR mode of which settings can be stored in two memory slots. However, it is the inclusion of a “skill mode” setting that sets this mod apart from the rest, giving users the chance to choose their own operating mode from either “beginner”, “intermediate” or “expert”, as suits their needs.
This looks like an intuitive vape kit! From what we can tell, the IKEN Kit is a “one size fits all”. And if the quality and price point remain competitive, we might see vape kits like this one becoming more mainstream in the coming months.
