Lynden VOD intro

The Lynden VOD is an inexpensive and easy-to-use AIO with some nice perks for a beginner. It’s got constant temperature output to a titanium coil. That’s right. A beginner kit with controlled temperature in a simple interface. That’s rare!

Notable remarks

The Lynden VOD looks similar to most pen-style AIOs, but it’s more than that. Because the VOD uses titanium coils and a constant temperature output of 290 degrees Celsius, the user won’t have to worry about dry hits. This is a huge plus for new vapers because dry hits can ruin confidence in vaping. And since most beginner kits with pre-filled tanks use regular power to a coil, dry hits happen.

The Lynden VOD is not the first to use temperature sensing pre-made coils, but it is very rare that it’s in a simple device like this. There are no advanced menu settings to scroll thru. No temperature coefficients to set. Just push a button!

The Lynden VOD is not your average eGo pen and tank

Keeping in line with ease-of-use, the VOD uses 2 mL pre-filled tanks they call pods. They have 510 connections though – so I will refer to them as tanks. The initial flavors being launched are Natural Tobacco, Bali Steam (fruity guava), and Tokyo Sun (strawberries & pastries). Ten additional flavors will be released soon. The current tanks come in two-packs for 6.95 EUR and 0, 3, and 6 mg/mL.

With a tank attached, the Lynden VOD stands at 137 x 14 mm. The tip looks to be proprietary, albeit ergonomic. The VOD has a 650 mAh battery to power the 0.32-ohm titanium coils. The tank has adjustable airflow – dual 6.5 x 1.3 mm slots – presumably perfect for MTL hits or restricted lung hits.

The kit comes with the constant temperature pen-style battery, one VOD tank, and a charging cable for 24.95 EUR.

What do you think? Could the Lynden VOD be the perfect kit for new vapers? Share your thoughts in the comments section below.

Nice until I reach the part of pre filled tanks, a real shame.

I hear ya’. My hope is that there will be a simple way to hack the tanks.
