Vandy Vape Pulse BF Squonk Mod intro

Do you love to squonk? I do! Wouldn’t it be nice if there were as many squonk mods as squonk-ready RDAs? Besides the rare and expensive FB market’s squonk mods, there’s not a whole lot to choose from. And in the sub-$50 price range, it’s even more of a ghost town.

Things may be about to change now. Introducing the Pulse BF Squonk Box Mod. It’s a follow-up collaboration from Vandy Vape and Tony Brittan from The Vapor Trail YouTube channel. After the success of their really nice squonk-ready Pulse RDA, Vandy Vape appears to be on track to bring squonking to the masses!

‘Bout damn time!

A well-designed and good-looking squonk mod that is affordable and widely available. That’s rare! The Pulse BF is a lightweight bottom-feeder mod powered by a single 18650 or 20700 battery with an 8 mL food grade silicone squonk bottle — which is soft and ideal for easy squonking. The Pulse BF is 77 mm x 50 mm x 27 mm, which means most RDAs will fit on it and look good. Nothing worse than finding a squonker you want that only fits 22 mm RDAs!

Kudos to Tony B and Vandy Vape, they might just have a winner on their hands. The mod’s internals and overall design look well thought out. There’s a spring-loaded 510, a switch rated for 40 amps and a large, circular fire button with an internal locking switch making the mechanical nature of the mod safer.

The Pulse looks just as good as many high-end squonkers

The Pulse Squonk comes in tiffany blue/black, white/black, and purple/black. Like many other squonkers, the Pulse Squonk has interchangeable magnetic panels, but the Pulse Squonk has two versus the standard one. That opens it up for more customization and it makes accessing the bottle and battery simpler and more convenient. And that’s what squonking is about: convenience and simplicity.

But no matter how pared down squonkers can be, the price of mods like this can be outrageous. That’s why the price of this device is so appealing. The Pulse Squonk MSRP is $39.99 and it’s selling from various Chinese retailers for under $30. Let that sink in for a moment.

It’ll be interesting seeing how much of an impact this mod will have on the market. Will other Chinese brands follow? What do you think? Do you have the Pulse RDA? How does the Pulse Squonk Mod look to you? Let us know in the comments section.

For sure. In general, I only consider those devices that will be widely available to be “on the market”. You are right though about GeekVape and IJOY. We’re working on those too.

      Thanks for the comment.

Was thinking about the HCigar VT Inbox 75w, but now I might wait, the Pulse looks to be lighter and more compact, can’t make up my mind, maybe I’ll wait until Tony does his review, and then make up my mind,,,,,,,

At the price this thing is going for, maybe it doesn’t have to be one or the other.

        That was my thought
