Lost Vape Drone DNA250 BF Mod Intro

Never seeming to settle, Lost Vape has announced yet another DNA based mod: the dual-cell Drone DNA166 BF.

That’s right, it’s a squonker.

Lost Vape has been giving us some of the very best mods integrating the Evolv DNA chip for some time, and the Drone is another exceptionally designed box. Looking very much like a Triade with its polygonal shape, the Drone sacrifices one of the Triade’s three batteries to allow room for the onboard juice bottle. With the Drone, Lost Vape neatly fills the gap between the Triade and their single-cell Therion squonker, and the dual-cell Drone should provide enough run time to keep BF enthusiasts happily squonking all day long.

The Drone pairs a centered 510 connector with enough output power to make the Drone a perfect platform for driving crazy wire mass in large bottom-fed RDAs like the Goon LP.

Even though the Drone has a DNA250 chip at its heart, the peak output wattage of the mod is governed at 167 watts, possibly due to battery considerations. If so, I applaud Lost Vape for erring on the side of caution.

Successful squonking

Lost Vape Drone BF

Lost Vape has been on a roll releasing one DNA powered box after another, with each new box improving on the last. I have a Triade that is like the crown jewel of my collection, and even though it isn’t the most expensive, it looks the part.

The design team at Lost Vape seems to have a knack for integrating interesting curves, angles, and various organic materials like wood and leather into their mods to make them stand apart ergonomically and visually. No doubt their mods are pricey, but it still feels like you are getting a pretty good bang for your buck when you pick one up and use it.

With its signature Lost Vape design and rock solid Evolv chipset, I expect the Drone DNA166 BF will be no exception to the Lost Vape formula by providing reliable regulated performance in a beautifully stylized form factor.

Aaaah, it’s good to be a squonker.

Literally nothing goes up on this site if it doesn’t make you guys a buck. Loved this place when you started now it’s nothing but shill to the highest bidder. Peace!

Do you not read news and advocacy? Maybe not. If you did, you would not say something like you did. Claiming that we are shills is just factually incorrect.

An afflink is pretty far from shilling.

Really, you might want to put up a poll about that there Jeremy. Look at what this site was five TO six months ago and what it is today. I get it you guys have bills to pay but how about putting up a product review just for you know….putting up a product review. This is becoming like the rip trippers channel, everything is fantastic. You guys actually gave horrible products good reviews which was the first sign it was all going downhill around here. Enjoy.

Thanks for responding, and coming back.

Do you not read news and advocacy? What about guides? Also, I can point out the negative reviews (which still have afflinks), but you are the one making accusations.

What horrible products did we review — that you can objectively say are terrible — that we recommended? If you are going to accuse us of something, speak in specifics.

p.s. The one product that we took off the afflink for was the iCare since it is objectively flawed.

Yes I am much more involved in advocacy than you can imagine, I go right to the source for that but thanks. I dont have to come back, disqus has an interface that doesn’t require I give you guys any page impressions.

I didn’t ask if you are involved, I ask if you read it. You said “Literally nothing goes up on this site if it doesn’t make you guys a buck” which is factually incorrect, which is why I pointed out those aspects.

Thanks for responding.

Feel free to comb through your own website mate. You guys act like shilling can’t be obvious. It’s fine, I don’t frequent your website anymore so its irrelevant to me whether you see it or not. Good day.

Bolarium doesn’t work for Vaping360. But, you can believe whatever you want. That is your right, even if you are wrong.

Thanks for responding.

Lost Vape does not use “DNA 250” in the product title. Look at the bottom of the mod in the first picture posted. It shows “Drone BF” – “DNA 166”.

Looks like you are correct and I have erred while doing my research. It seems that it is a DNA250 board governed at 166W but it does not state DNA250 anywhere on the box or the mod.

Thanks for pointing that out.
