The VFOLK Pro prefilled starter kit is a pod vape with a patented wicking system. It’s the first vape from this new company to the market. VFOLK is an ultraportable JUUL-like pod vape that’s lightweight and button-free. It houses 1.2 mL magnetic drop-in pods that come in the popular 5% nicotine salt strength. There are currently seven flavors: coffee, mango, mint, virginia tobacco, sweet lychee, cucumber, and mung bean – the latter three have just been released and are, therefore, not included to the review.
VFOLK Pro comes in either a starter kit with two prefilled pods and your choice of flavor, or in a device kit with just the hardware and no pods. Each pod pack purchased separately comes with two pods.
The VFOLK claim to fame is that it features FEELM Technology. FEELM Technoology is a black ceramic conductor and metal film wicking system that was introduced in 2018. FEELM wicking has no actual coil and is designed to efficiently vaporize e-juice and virtually eliminate leakage; currently it’s only available in prefilled vapes. FEELM, like CCELL, is owned by Smoore Group Limited, the parent company for Vaporesso. FEELM Technology is now featured in 20 (or so) pod vapes sold globally. VFOLK is one of the latest.

The VFOLK Pro is a simple yet refined pod vape. It’s got a sleek satin finish on a zinc alloy body, and it’s small and lightweight. Perfect for vaping on the go!
The VFOLK Pro with a full pod in weighs only 20 grams and measures approximately 10 mm x 20 mm x 100 mm (just under 4” tall). The VFOLK Pro is shaped like countless other devices on the market, but there are some minor details – like the juice window showing the full juice levels – that elevate it from the typical fare. In general, the VFOLK Pro is a nicely made device.
Inside of the prefilled VFOLK Pro pod is a patented wicking system called FEELM. The pod is branded on the outside with the label “FEELM Inside”. FEELM Inside is a brand authentication program launched by FEELM that provides a reference for users to verify the authenticity of the product.
At the time of writing this, “FEELM inside” appears on cartridges/pods from 13 brands, including the likes of NJOY. Since FEELM has reported sales volumes of over 100 million just since last year, there have been attempts to copy this technology. With the FEELM Inside authentication program, you can rest assured that you didn’t end up with a copycat. Not all brands that use FEELM currently have the authentication program, but more will soon.
The VFOLK Pro, and other devices like it, are made to take all the guesswork out of the equation. It’s a bonafide beginner vape that can get you vaping almost immediately. The biggest hurdle between you and starting to use it is taking the kit out of its packaging.
If you have a VFOLK Pro kit, there really is only one step to vaping after you remove the kit from the packaging. Simply insert a pod into the device and take a puff. The VFOLK has no buttons or any kind of learning curve. It’s an automatic draw, which means you simply take a puff when you’re ready to vape. If you don’t yet have a VFOLK Pro, the big question you probably want answered is…
The VFOLK Pro hits well! It’s impressive. It’s got a tight draw like you’d experience hitting a cigarette, and the feeling of the vapor is lively, comfortably warm, and impactful. You will feel it! Even though 5% nicotine is fairly high of a concentration, plenty other vapes on the market use that same concertation and produce weak hits. Having said that, the VFOLK Pro isn’t too aggressive either. It’s just right.
For such a small device, the vapor output is plenty. The automatic draw allows for hits of about 5-6 seconds. Most people don’t take hits that long, but if you do like long drags, that’s the limit. What’s great about the VFOLK pro is that the FEELM wick allows for long drags without ever tasting burnt or overly toasted. The beginning of the hit feels and tastes just like the end of the hit.
Also, there’s no spitting, popping, or leaking with the VFOLK Pro – thanks to FEELM Inside. And what we really like about the hit is that it’s super quiet. Devices like this are meant to be stealthy and discreet, but often times pod vapes make audible sizzling sounds as the coil heats up the vape juice. But remember, FEELM isn’t actually a coil. It’s a heating element inside of ceramic. The only thing you’ll hear when you hit it is the sound of the small amount of air you’re drawing in with the hit.
Mint: Our undisputed favorite! It’s quite cooling on the throat and it tastes like a blend of mints — it’s not obviously spearmint or peppermint. It’s also kinda sweet with maybe a touch of vanilla or something. For those of us here at Vaping360 that like the JUUL Mint, we think the VFOLK Pro mint is simply better.
Virginia Tobacco: A nutty and semi-smoky tasting tobacco flavor. Reminiscent of the old 555 e-juice flavors, this is a classic vape tobacco flavor done well. Those of us that like tobacco flavors really like this one.
Coffee: This coffee flavor is a bit divisive for us. Some like it and others don’t. The flavor is described as a mocha Frappuccino, and the aroma is spot on. But where some of us felt the flavor was also accurate, others found it to be a little bit like over-roasted coffee.
Mango: One of the most popular flavors in vaping. Described as an iced Malaysia green mango, the VFOLK Pro mango is not as sweet as other pod vape mangos, and it has a mentholated finish. It hits fairly strong but not overly aggressive.
Note: the VFOLK Pro pods flavors can be distinguished from each other on the bottom of the pods by color-coding. Mint is bright green, tobacco is light olive, coffee is brown, and mango is orange.
The FDA announced Jan. 2 that it will begin enforcing all Deeming Rule requirements immediately for prefilled pod- and cartridge-based vaping products in flavors other than tobacco and menthol. Products sold after Feb. 2 are subject to enforcement if the FDA has not granted them marketing approval through a premarket tobacco application (PMTA). No PMTAs have been approved for vaping products yet. The FDA guidance only applies to products sold in the United States.
For a little device, it’s got a decent battery capacity at 350 mAh. Even if you use the VFOLK Pro a lot, you should be able to get a full day of usage out of it. If you don’t use it much, you can obviously get more time out of it without a charge. The batteries in vapes work like any battery — usage drains it.
On the front of the device, in the same of a small “v,” is the battery and charge indicator LED. When it’s white it’s fully charged or predominantly charged, and when it’s red it needs to be charged. When it’s charging, green means it’s fully charged.
To charge the VFOLK pro, simply plug in the included micro USB port into computer or similar outlet. It takes about 45 minutes to fully charge. If you want to use it while it charging, you can because it has pass-thru charging.
The VFOLK Pro is a solid choice for beginners or anyone looking for a simple solution to vaping on the go. It doesn’t leak, the hits are consistent, and it feels good in the hand or pocket. There were no hiccups with its performance at all. If you’re interested in getting the VFOLK Pro, make sure to get the starter kit and choose the flavor you want. The device kit does not come with any pods, and of course you need those to be able to use it.
Currently on the VFOLK site, they’re running a pop-up sale for 30% off. If for some reason you don’t see that, the first order is always 20% off, and they have free shipping on orders over $25.
