Wismec Reuleaux RX GEN3 Preview: Triple Batteries and Compact

The Wismec Reuleaux has been a firm favorite amongst vapers for a while now, with many power-hungry vapers sporting this iconic design within their box mod collection. It is no surprise then that Wismec and JayBo have been hard at work refining the original design and the Reuleaux RX GEN3 is their third attempt to corner the triple battery mod market. The Reuleaux RX GEN3 box mod is a lighter and more ergonomic version of its predecessors with the most notable differences being the overall height and width of the main chassis. Where the older models are both taller and wider, the RX GEN3 is tapered to a narrow, rounded edge at one point, which makes it fit more comfortably into the palm of your hand while still allowing enough internal space to accommodate three 18650 cells.

In line with these design choices, the battery compartment is now a hinged door at the base of the unit – instead of a removable side panel – allowing easy user access but maintaining a streamlined form factor without adding unnecessary space to the main chassis.

With this iteration, Wismec have also introduced a much larger, front facing OLED screen as well as a brand new menu interface for improved usability. As expected,

The RX GEN3 is arguably, the most compact triple battery mod on the market and Wismec have done as much as possible to address the criticisms of the previous iterations – a feat for which they should be commended.
