The Eleaf Pico 75W box mod follows one of the latest trends in vaping — making devices as small as possible. Following the likes of the Council of Vapor Mini Volt, the iJoy Solo Mini, and the Cloupor Mini Plus, this vaping device is diminutive, yet surprisingly powerful and versatile. Hopefully one day, there will be a box mod as small as Derek Zoolander’s phone. For now, here’s a quick preview of the Eleaf Pico 75W.
Size Matters Not
The iStick Pico’s measurements are 70.6 x 45.2 x 23.2mm. The box mod is available on its own or as a kit with the Eleaf Melo 3 Mini tank. The tank is appropriately small in order to match the dimensions of the box, with a height of 55.1mm and a diameter of 22.1mm. Naturally, don’t expect the Melo 3 Mini to hold much juice. Its 2ml size will require lots of refilling from frequent vapers, but thankfully fits in with the upcoming EU regulations.
As you’ve probably inferred from the products full name, the iStick Pico is capable of firing as high as 75 watts. The box mod runs on a single 18650 battery. In addition to operating in wattage mode, iStick Pico is capable of temperature control with nickel, titanium, and stainless steel coils. It even has a TCR mode (temperature coefficient of resistance) for fine tuning or alternate materials.
Based on its spec sheet, the iStick Pico is a very small and very capable mod. It’s just like Yoda said — “Size matters not.”
It’s the Motion of the Ocean
The iStick Pico is launching in five colors — black, white, hot pink, silver, and grey. While I haven’t seen all of the models in person, I’m attracted to the white and pink ones based off of product photos. The grey and silver look too similar in pictures, so I’d like to see those colors in person before picking one. Still, it’s curious that Eleaf selected two colors that are so similar.
On the more positive side, the device appears to be using the same Joyetech chip found in the Wismec Reuleaux, Vape Forward Vapor Flask models, and more. The chip has proven to be a fantastic performer for the price, with new features being added through firmware updates.
Adorable and Powerful
If you’re looking for a powerful and versatile box mod with a small form factor and low price then the Eleaf iStick Pico 75W is absolutely worth a look. It has a super-cute design and uses a well-established chip. While the micro box mod market is getting increasingly competitive, the iStick Pico should be considered simply based on its strong chip.
