Tesla Punk 220W box mod intro
The steampunk trend has recently been popularized by hipsters and Tumblr kids alike. And with the obvious connection between “steam” (think vapor) and moving, mechanical parts (think vape device), it was only a matter of time before this design style reached the vaping industry.
Tesla Cigs is one of the first mainstream vape manufacturers to bring this steampunk craze to the vaping world, with their release of the Nano 120W earlier this year. Their second design in this series, the Punk 220W Box Mod looks equally unique, and with a top power of 220W, it promises impressive performance.

“Punk” up your vape life!
Tesla add a little fantasy and flair to their box mod designs with the newly released Punk 220 W vape device. This eye-catching creation comes in three different colors, with a distinctive brushed metal finish adding a retro and almost vintage look and feel.
The general aesthetic has been enhanced with colorful LED lights and transparent outer panels that creates the effect of looking “inside” the body, revealing the mechanical parts. This is slightly misleading as it is in no-way representative of the device’s ACTUAL internal parts but it is in keeping with the “steampunk” trend. It’s also pretty cool to look at too!
The mod is finished off with a clear OLED screen and a large, protruding firing button that looks solid and “clicky.” This dual battery setup offers various operating modes, including a full TCR setting with native support for most standard heating elements. Measuring only 56 x 30 x 86mm, this model is slightly thicker and marginally taller than the Nano, but should still offer a comfortable grip.
Tesla fans who are familiar with the Nano in particular, will remember the quality and performance that this mod delivered. And if the Punk performs as well as the older model, cloud chasers are in for a treat!
