Vaporesso Target Mini Preview

Vaporesso's latest mod is a diminutive version of one of the company's prior hits.

I Shall Call Him…Mini Me

Vaporesso’s Target Mini Mod is the little sister to the company’s Target Mod (expertly reviewed by Vaping360’s Sam Bass-Cooper). It uses the same design language with some alterations that allow it to shrink down to a tiny 36.5 x 24.2 x 58.1-mm form factor. With small vaping devices like the Council of Vapor Mini Volt proving to be popular, it was a sharp move by Vaporesso to release a smaller version of its distinct Target Mod. If mod’s could speak, the original would proudly christen the Target Mini as Mini Me.

Specs-wise, the Target Mini is competitive with other current small mods. Aesthetically, the it appears similar to its predecessor, but with less exaggerated flares. The distinct appearances is retained, but it’s not as “extreme” as the original. So while it has less flare, the mod also has more flair.

The Target Mini will be available in a standalone package and as a kit coupled with the Guardian Tank. What do you think of Vaporesso’s latest gun-like device? Are you intrigued by its small form factor and unique design? Share your thoughts on the mod in the comments section.

The Guardian tank that comes with the Mini uses a totally redesigned cCell coil. They misrepresent this in their ads. They show the gold coils that are used with the bigger Target. The old bigger Target tank leaks constantly and will get ejuice all over the mod, your hands, clothes,..
They expressly tout the Guardian as a non-leaking tank since the other one leaks so bad! People who have the Target and plenty of gold coils buy the new Guardian as a replacement only to find their coils don’t fit and now have to buy yet more ceramic coils. The Target mod is great, the tank sucks! Vaporesso has some good products and some bad, yet totally fails in customer satisfaction with their “bait and switch” sales tactics!

    • Thanks for the info, Chris. I appreciate the update and your opinion.

This review is for the Target Mini and most people reading it are interested in mini mods. Are you trying to say the tank with the Mini kit “sucks” or that some other tank from a different mod is no good?
Lots of companies have different coils for different tanks. My Aspire K1 coils won’t fit in my Aspire Nautilus Mini and neither type will fit in the Aspire Atlantis. That is a common thing with all tanks and not just Vaporesso’s.
