Triple Your Pleasure

The Eleaf iStick TC200W is a triple-18650 box mod with a very familiar chip. Triple-battery mods have been mildly popular among enthusiast vapers and didn’t reach mass-market popularity until the Wismec Reuleaux RX200. The iStick TC200W is very similar to Wismec’s popular box, which isn’t a surprise since both companies are Joyetech subsidiaries. Here’s a quick look at the Eleaf iStick TC200W.

Same Same, But Different

As you can tell from the product shots, the Eleaf iStick TC200W uses the same chip as the Wismec Reuleaux RX200. That chip has been getting a ton of mileage, appearing in devices like the iStick TC100W, the Vape Forward Vapor Flask Classic, and the Beyond Vape Centurion. There’s a reason why that chipset is so popular; it’s quite capable, while also being significantly cheaper than the Evolv DNA200 and YiHi SX350J v2 chips.

The question I’ve been hearing from a lot of vapers is, “Why should I get this mod over the Reuleaux?” That’s a very fair point. That mod has been out longer and is easier to find at a discount. As far as price goes, expect this mod to cost slightly more at launch, with the price coming down shortly thereafter. It pretty much comes down to comfort. While I find the Reuleaux completely comfortable, some of my friends find it bulky. The iStick TC200W is shaped more like an oval compared to the Reuleax’s triangle. Since we all have different hands and preferences, I’m certain that you’ll find one more comfortable than the other.

(I apologies to any biological twins, triplets, etc. that I offended. I know that you guys have the same hands.)

The Eleaf iStick TC200W is set to ship at the end of the month. What do you ladies and gentlemen think of it? Please share your thoughts on the comments section.

  • “Same same but different” lol! I look forward to seeing how this one sits in the hand. I wasn’t the biggest fan of how the RX200 sits, as it’s a tad too bulky for my liking.

    • I was hoping someone would get my Thai reference. Ha!

    • RX200 was way too bulky, sexy but bulky. Now that just sound weird. Having 3 18650’s is a tad too heavy for me, I don’t really like the look of the iStick 200W.

The design looks similar to a dna200 triple 18650 mod I saw on vaping 360. I love my rx200 and don’t really see the advantages of this one. Looking to get the wisemecreleaux Dna 200 when I can finally afford one. Nice preview though

    • I think you’re correct that there aren’t necessarily advantages with this mod over the Reuleaux RX200. It’s a matter of form factor and color preferences. Thanks for reading!

I’ve just ordered one,I think it looks great and I found it cheaper than the rx from gearbest.

    • Please let me know what you think after you’ve used it for a bit.

Will do,be waiting a while though.

Just got mine yesterday, its pretty big, bigger than rx,comfortable in the hand and despite some people’s reservations I’d say the fire button is well placed, those with small hands would say it’s too big but I am blessed.build quality is decent no button rattle at all and I like how the batteries are loaded into the bottom,my eleaf 100w seems to scuff and tear the ends of my battery wrap so it’s a definite improvement
