Hot Juice is one of the freshest e-liquid brands straight out of California. They offer an extensive line of flavors with competitive prices. They also plan to expand their line within the near future. Today we’ll be testing out their CBD vape juice. It’s made from 99% CBD isolate, which typically tastes less harsh than full-spectrum hemp extracts.
Hot Juice supposedly uses kosher, gluten-free, non-GMO ingredients mixed by experienced in-house chemists. They display lab test results for the CBD isolate used in their e-juice, but unfortunately they don’t mention the third party lab that tested it. There is also not much information about what type of lab their e-juice is produced in. I will update the review when I receive more details from Hot Juice.
Strengths: 250 mg, 500 mg, 1000 mg, 2000 mg, 5000 mg
Price: $39.95-$289.95 per 100 mL (free shipping)
The first thing I noticed was that all of the Hot Juice bottles have a mature, no-frills look. They each come in 100 mL plastic bottles with their blue and green logo, and a green cap. The bottles are easy to squeeze and have a fine tip. I prefer this style to the Chubby Gorilla kind. They all came in a 70/30 VG to PG ratio. Hot Juice also threw in some nice Vaping360 stickers which was a thoughtful touch.
I received their full line of 11 CBD vape juice flavors, which is pretty impressive for a such a young company. I will be testing my favorite ones of the bunch in 500 mg or 1000 mg CBD. I tried them sublingually and using various CBD vape pens.
I enjoy fruity flavors, so Kiwi Stardust was one of my favorites of the bunch. It has a pleasant candy taste, and the kiwi gives it a nice tartness. I detect a strawberry bubblegum flavor in the mix too. I would recommend this one to people who are looking for a tropical blend that isn’t excessively sweet, but still has a sweet candy flavor. It seems to be blending well with the neutral taste of the CBD isolate.
This one threw me for a loop. It was actually pretty good, but nothing like what I was expecting. I thought it would taste like those gummy fish candies. Nope. It reminds me of bubblegum, with a spicy twist. Not like Big Red, but one of those red gumballs that has a touch of cinnamon in it. In any case, it was enjoyable and refreshing. Like the other flavor, it doesn’t seem to be overly sweet. If you’re looking for a unique candy vape with a spicy kick, try Swedish Bliss.
This flavor has a well-balanced tropical pineapple taste. It reminds me of Pineapple Express by JustCBD, but with more of a candy sweetness. I am barely tasting the CBD, aside from a very slight aftertaste. The CBD can leave a slight numbing sensation on your tongue, especially in 1000 mg, but it doesn’t seem to disrupt the taste. Recommended to fans of tangy candy flavors.
This is a sweet breakfast vape, which was a change of pace from all the fruity stuff. I’m getting the taste of waffles with syrup and some blueberry undertones. It reminds me of French Dude, a flavor that I used to vape often, but Dreamberry Waffles isn’t nearly as sweet. It also doesn’t seem to be destroying my coils and cotton. You’ll enjoy this flavor if you are into breakfast flavors with a hint of fruit.
If you don’t want anything fruity, and are looking for a creamy dessert, this is the one. I like this flavor a lot, it really tastes like a Boston Cream donuts from Dunkin’ Donuts! It goes really well with a cup of coffee. This is also one of my favorites to take sublingually. Boston Cream Escape is a creamy, rich flavor with a pleasant bakery aftertaste. Highly recommended for fans of donut-inspired e-juices.
When I was a kid, I loved dipping bananas in chocolate pudding. Cascading Cocoa actually reminds me of my childhood treat. I was expecting it to taste like pure cocoa, but it actually has a subtle cocoa taste, that reminded me of chocolate pudding. It’s complemented by the hint of banana, which creates this smooth banana split flavor. Like the rest of their flavors, it isn’t too sweet, and it doesn’t leave a bad aftertaste. I’ve vaped many chocolate flavors before and most of them leave a strong smell, but this one just smells like regular vape juice. If you enjoy the taste of chocolate covered bananas, Cascading Cocoa is for you.
Hot Juice has five other flavors available in their CBD line. This includes Tobacco Moonlight, Arctic Blueberry, Lounge Cherry, Peach Utopia and Island Dream. I can’t say I enjoyed them all as much as the ones I selected, but taste is subjective. Some of the favorites here at the office were actually Lounge Cherry, Peach Utopia and Island Dream. It’s nice that they offer a diverse range of flavors in the most popular categories. I have been using them to get my dose of CBD, and it seems to be working for me.
When taking them sublingually, I actually feel the cannabidiol content, it leaves a slight tingling sensation. After taking Hot Juice CBD regularly for the last few weeks I have noticed that it tends to balance me out mentally and keeps me relatively calm.
Hot Juice doesn’t use much sweetener as most of the Californian vape juice brands I’ve tried. This seems to be the case with all of their e-juice, which is a pro or a con depending on your preference. If you’re looking for e-juice with CBD (or nicotine) in a wide range of flavors, have a hot look at Hot Juice.
