Hcigar VT250 preview | Luxurious-looking box mod

Today we take a sneak peak at a triple-cell DNA 250 device from HCigar called the VT250 to find out what sets it apart from the other DNA 250 mods on the market.

Hcigar VT250 Intro

By now, you must know that any mod with a DNA 250 board is going to pretty much give you the best vape that money can buy. The HCigar VT250 is one of those mods, but what else does it bring to the table? Let’s take a look and find out what defines the VT250 from the rest…

The VT250 is going for $98.70 at GearBest right now which is a great deal for a DNA 250 mod, especially this luxurious-looking one. After they sell out, they will be going up in price…

Sexy curves

The first thing that appeals to me is its modern, curved design. It looks almost Mercedes-esque. At some point, box mods stopped looking like boxes. The VT250 screams ergonomics. It looks super comfortable to hold and use so I just can’t wait to get my hands on one already…

Three cells are better than one

The Hcigar VT250 houses three 18650’s and is capable of 250W of raw power or temperature control. Its board uses cell by cell trickle technology to ensure accurate charging, however we highly recommend using an external charger to get the maximum usage out of your batteries.

The battery door is magnetic with some subtle branding on it. The batteries connect via the same micro-USB port used for firmware upgrades via the Escribe software.

I have been hooked on using the Vaporesso Nebula lately, and the VT250 has a similar vibe.
It also has a nice bright LED screen and a big fat fire button. Last but not least, it’s chassis is made of out zinc alloy which hopefully strikes a nice balance between lightweight and durable.

But wait, there's more…

Some other notable features include its gold-plated spring loaded 510 pin, silver plated battery contacts and stainless steel 510 threading. The VT250 is also customizable and firmware upgradeable via the Escribe software.

I can already tell this mod is going to be addictive to vape due to its smooth performance and feel. Just consider this a warning….

Dave Kriegel
Born in Brooklyn, New York, Dave has always had a passion for helping people quit smoking. As a former smoker himself, he knew how hard it could be. As soon as he learned about vaping, he instantly became obsessed with it and helped many people stop smoking. Vaping360 has given Dave a platform to do this on a much larger scale, by educating the public about the wonders of vaping. When Dave is not writing he is either listening to music, performing it, or cruising around on his Penny board.

I’d love to rock a DNA250 but this looks like it was put out by Phillips Norelco

I think I’ve found where my lunch money goes. I guess more color options will be available later. What I do like is the nice 510 that sits in the middle. And ergonimic design. Looks like it will sit in hand better than Reulaux.
