Watch This: The Right To Vape Tour Episode Four

The fight to save vaping is a story worth telling

The Right To Vape Tour is over, but the final piece of the video documenting the month-long event was just released. Like the previous segments, it’s beautifully done, and inspiring.

The video includes wonderful footage from tour stops and the bus route from the west coast to the east, and interviews with tour manager Paul Blair, Johnson Creek Enterprises founder Christian Berkey, and vapers who came out to participate.

The tour’s over, but the groups that came together to make it happen are still fighting for a solution to the slow-motion ban the FDA began last year. Until we convince Congress to first change the predicate date in the deeming regulations, we’re all heading toward a ban in less than two years.

How can you help? Use the August8th.org site to send letters to your elected representatives, and make phone calls to their offices. Tell your family members and friends how vaping has helped you, and ask them to contact their congressional reps too. Finally, keep supporting the vape businesses you always have. They need to know that the customers they serve want and need them to hang on. We all need to hang on.

Smokers created vaping without any help from the tobacco industry or anti-smoking crusaders, and vapers have the right to keep innovating to help themselves. My goal is to provide clear, honest information about the challenges vaping faces from lawmakers, regulators, and brokers of disinformation. I recently joined the CASAA board, but my opinions aren’t necessarily CASAA’s, and vice versa. You can find me on Twitter @whycherrywhy
