Today we have another vape pen from Apollo and this one looks like a step up from the NEO Endeavor. The Apollo OHM GO Kit is an all-in-one vape pen that comes with a 3 mL tank with adjustable airflow, unlike the NEO Endeavor. The OHM GO is also a little bit bigger in size.

Not only does it take 0.5-ohm coils, but also has 1.0-ohm coil heads available. It seems to be the type of vape pen I would recommend to a beginner. The best part is that you can graduate from above ohm to sub ohm vaping. Ok, let’s have a vape on the OHM GO and see what’s up.

The Portal tank is actually way better then most of the other Apollo tanks I have tested, with the exception of the Pulsar. It has good airflow, and seems to be delivering a decent amount of vapor and cloudage. Unfortunately the battery is not putting out enough power for my liking.

I am getting the same type of vape that I get on the NEO Endeavor, except with more airflow. It is a very mellow and cool vape. For my taste, it’s just not putting out enough heat, and the flavor is suffering as a result of that. This might be great for a beginner, but it isn’t going to do it for me.

The battery works fine, but 1900 mAh might not get you through a full day of chain vaping at .5 ohms. The output seems to be somewhere around 30W, so you can get a good couple of hours of vaping out of it. I think the best use for this pen would be with the 1.0-ohm coil heads….

Apollo claims that the battery does up to 50 watts but with these 0.5-ohm coils, it’s barely pushing 30.

The Portal tank has top-fill, holds 3 mL and actually works great on any mod at around 30-40 watts. The battery essentially functions like a low voltage mech mod with safety features.

  • Portable
  • Both 1.0 and 0.5 ohm coils available
  • Three milliliters of tank capacity

  • Lesser-known brand
  • Not enough power for 0.5 ohm coil heads
  • Uses proprietary coil heads

The Apollo OHM GO Kit is suitable for a newbie vaper making the switch from cigarettes. It’s also a good starter kit for the mouth-to-lunger who wants a stealthy vape pen for on-the-go use. The Apollo Portal tank is a well-made, versatile little tank that also works great on most mods.

If you are looking for a sub ohm vape pen, than you might want to look into something more powerful like the JAC Vapour S17 or the Kanger Subvod. As a backup or emergency vape, the Apollo OHM GO comes in clutch. It would also make a great gift for that smoker trying to quit….
