Tanks a lot, Jay-Bo
The IndeReserve is the latest Wismec product designed by the renowned Jay-Bo. Building on the success of the Inde Duo RDA, the IndeReserve is an RTA that incorporates some of the same features in a tank format. On paper, the ends result is a rebuildable tank that’s easy to work with and easy to maintain. (As for why Wismec uses two words for Inde Duo and one word for IndeReserve…I haven’t a clue.) Here’s a closer look at the newest vaping product from Wismec and Jay-Bo.

The genesis of genesis
The Wismec IndeReserve is a genesis-style RTA. In many ways, it reminds me of the iJoy Limitless RDTA, but with a deck that some vapers will find even easier to work with. Like the Inde Duo, this tank eschews the popular Velocity-style post setup in favor of a block. The block is formed by a T-shaped positive post that’s flanked by negative posts on each side. Unlike the posts on the Inde Duo, the setup on the IndeReserve lacks the center hole on the positive post. As a result, the build possibilities aren’t as vast. Still, many vapers find this post style easy to work with and very flexible.
Wicking the cotton on the IndeReserve is similar to wicking the cotton on another Jay-Bo designed product — the Wismec Theorem. Instead of having to carefully thread cotton through holes on a deck, you simply drape it over some slots and drop the glass over it. This wicking system is incredibly convenient and I’m glad that it has become more prevalent in vaping tanks.
After the wicks are in place and dabbed with a bit of e-liquid, filling the tank is done through a side slot. You simply raise the top cap to expose the slot, fill the tank with e-liquid, and pop the cap back down. The airflow control system is similar to the one found on the Wismec Theorem. The base of the top cap features two airflow slots that can be adjusted through twisting the crown of the top cap. Some vapers find this style of airflow control a bit finicky, while others appreciate the clean looks if offers.
While there doesn’t appear to be anything groundbreaking with the Wismec IndeReserve, there are many reasons to consider picking one up. It looks like an affordable RTA that’s just easy — as in easy to build on, easy to use, and easy to maintain. What do you think of Jay-Bo’s latest Wismec product?
