Innokin Endura T18 Intro

Today we review the new Innokin Endura T18, a fantastic little mouth to lung vape pen targeted towards smokers looking to switch to vaping. Recently mouth to lung vaping has taken somewhat of a back seat to the more “trendy” sub ohm vaping, which mostly consists of direct lung inhales. This is probably because of the massive influx and rise in popularity of sub ohm tanks over the past year. Since the Aspire Nautilus Mini, Aspire K1 and Kanger Aerotank V2, there hasn’t really been much in the way of new mouth to lung tanks. It seems as though the Chinese manufacturers are focusing all their attention on the lucrative sub ohm market.

I am very happy to see that Innokin has decided to make a new device with the focus on the mouth to lung draw. After all, this is what most smokers are used to and will be looking for from their first vape. Do we finally we have something we can recommend to beginners that isn’t just an Ego or Nautilus Mini?!

Using the Endura T18

Vaping360 placeholder image

The Endura T18 can be USB charged and can be vaped whilst charging. The Prism coils are easy to install into the tank and the tank can be re- filled from the top. The Endura T18 also features a battery indicating LED that shows you roughly how much charge you have left. Green is almost fully charged, yellow is half power and red indicates you need to re-charge the battery.

We tried a range of e-juices on the Endura Prism tank and would recommend using a VG/PG ratio no higher than 70/30, otherwise you risk the coil not wicking properly. The flavor with higher VG e-liquid might be more muted than when using a 50/50 or higher PG e-juice blend. That is why we use a 65% PG e-liquid to provide more flavor and a better throat hit when using the Endura.

We won’t talk too much more about how to use the Endura T18, as it is extremely simple to use. There is a nice break-down drawing by Jimmith on the inside of the box to show you how to use the device.

Size

Vaping360 placeholder image
The Endura T18 is smaller than its larger brother the T22 and is the same sort of size as your standard ego e-cig. The Endura fits nicely in your pocket, but isn’t quite as stealthy as the Juul basic kit or Joyetech Ego One. For those new to vaping and who are looking for something that is relatively portable and inconspicuous, the T18 is a pretty good fit in terms of size.

Draw

The draw and mouth piece do a fantastic job of replicating the experience you would be used to from a cigarette and is similar to that of the Juul. The draw is absolutely spot on and is ideal for those looking to switch from smoking to e-cigarettes.

Coil Longevity

The Prism coils, whilst slightly unusual in appearance, last for ages. We vaped our Endura T18 for around a month before we had to replace the first coil! This is pretty amazing and means you won’t have to be investing a huge amount of money into coils, like you might have to on a sub ohm tank.

Top Fill

The mouth to lung tanks of old, were all bottom fillers, but the T18 can be conveniently filled from the top. Re-filling from the top is easy and there is plenty of space for pouring the e-liquid in.

Flavor

The flavor on the Endura Prism coils is fantastic and similar to that of the Nautilus Mini or Kanger Aerotanks. We would however, go as far as saying that the flavor is slightly better on the Endura T18 than the Nautilus or the Kanger Aerotanks!

Tank Capacity

The T18 has a 2.5ml e-liquid capacity and comes with a pre-installed 1.5ohm Prism coil head. The 2.5ml tank capacity when vaping on the T18 device will last you longer than a day.

Easy-To-Use

For a beginner the T18 is fairly simple to use and doesn’t feature any adjustable wattages or airflow. Simply fill your T18 with juice and you are good to go. This makes the T18 perfect for any first time vaper. If you are looking for a longer battery life and adjustable wattages, take a look at the Innokin T22, which is a slightly larger version of the T18.

Easy Coil Swap System

Like the Innokin iSub series, the Endura features the easy coil swap system. This makes swapping coils a piece of cake and reduces the mess made when doing so!

USB Cover

Vaping360 placeholder image
The Innokin Endura T18 is pretty flawless and we do not have any major complaints with it whatsoever. If we were being nitpicky, we would say that the USB cover is a little bit flimsy and can be easily snapped. It’s neat, but not very strong.

Verdict

Overall we think the Innokin Endura T18 is one of the best mouth to lung devices on the market. It is perfect for smokers who are looking to switch to vaping, given its resemblance in draw, to a cigarette. It is also a fantastic portable vape for vapers who enjoy a mouth to lung style draw. We are very glad Innokin released this product as the mouth to lung market really needed a new device like this.

This is an outstanding vape and we can whole heartedly recommend the Endura T18 to those looking for their first vape!
