The Dollar E-Juice Club is essentially a club designed for people who are tired of overpaying for e-juice. It was founded in Southern California by a team of mixologists and put to the test by real vapers. Their goal is to provide solid flavors and clean e-juice for fair prices. They have been in the game for quite a few years now. Jeremy tested out some of their flavors about a year back. He seemed to be impressed with their prices and massive selection of over 100 flavors.

I have only tried one or two flavors from The Dollar E-Juice Club in the past, so I'm basically starting fresh. The brand name refers to their 5 mL sample bottles which go for only $0.99! You get to create your own sample pack, or choose from a range of over 10 pre-selected bundles. Once you decide on which flavors are your favorites, you can purchase them in 60 mL and 120 mL sizes. They come in 0, 3 and 6 mg nicotine strengths and eight of them are also available with nicotine salt. All of the regular nic options are offered in 70/30 VG/PG, but their nic salt flavors are 50/50 blends.

The Dollar E-Juice Club pricing

I think The Dollar E-Juice Club understands the struggle. It's not easy to find a flavor that you're actually going to vape, especially when you can't try them out. I can't even tell you how many bottles I've bought that I had to give away to a "lucky" friend. That's probably why they sell sample bottles for a dollar (and bundles for $5.) If you don't like it, you're only down a buck!

They also offer bundles of four 60 or 120 mL bottles as well. Recently, they have knocked down the prices on these bundles, making them more affordable than ever. The Best Seller Sampler Bundle is the only one available in 5 mL, not in 60 and 120 mL. (I suppose you can re-create the bundle manually if you really want that particular selection in those sizes.) Let's check out how they've lowered their (already affordable) prices:

Regular nicotine pricing

5 mL: $0.99

60 mL: $8.99

120 mL: $14.99

Nicotine salt pricing

5 mL: $1.99

30 mL: $7.99

Former bundle pricing

5 mL x 5: $4.95

60 mL x 4: $29.99

120 mL x 4: $49.99

Current bundle pricing

60 mL x 4: $24.99

120 mL x 4: $44.99

The Dollar E-Juice Club Bundles

Let's start with listing all of the bundles The Dollar E-Juice Club has to offer, and I will then describe which flavors I enjoyed the most out of the ones I tried, and which ones I didn’t care for. Here is the current bundle line-up, with the ones I received in bold:

Existing bundles:

  • Pastry Heaven Bundle
  • Minty Fresh Bundle
  • Sweet Tooth Bundle
  • Got Milk Bundle
  • Hello Summer Bundle
  • New bundles:

    • Strawberry Lovers Bundle
    • Best Seller Bundle
    • Berry Lovers Bundle
    • Fruitylicious Bundle
    • I think the Pastry Heaven Bundle would have to be my favorite of all the bundles I tried. Not just because I tend to like pastry and dessert vapes, but because every single e-juice happens to be the type of flavor I am into. I can't say that about all of the bundles, but each one had at least a few flavors that I liked. The Minty Fresh Bundle is probably my least favorite simply because I’m not into menthol flavors. The Best Seller Bundle is also another good starting point to test out some of their most sought after flavors.

There were a few flavors that I tried for the sake of the review that I wouldn’t normally vape. They weren’t objectively bad, but just not my thing. Flavors like honeydew strawberry menthol might appeal to you, but those are the ones that I try to avoid. I would probably have liked Berry peach menthol a lot more if it weren’t for the menthol part. As for some non-menthol flavors, I wasn’t crazy about the Cookies and ice cream or the Blueberry cream, but my brother happened to really enjoy the latter.

The testing was done using a variety of sub ohm tanks and pod vapes. For the record, if you are going to use a pod system, their 50/50 nic salt blends are going to wick more efficiently. All of the e-liquids were sent to me in good ol’ 3 mg nicotine strength which worked perfectly with all of my sub ohm devices.

      Rainbow candy

This was one of the first e-liquids that I opened up. I always smell them first to get a preview. If it makes me go "wow", then I have to try it. This flavor had me right away, so I decided to try it first. For legal reasons, they probably can't say that it tastes exactly like Skittles, but I'm going to say it—it tastes like Skittles! I am tasting the rainbow. I get all of those lemon and lime citrus notes blending together with the other berries and fruit flavors. It also has a balanced level of sweetness, it's not too sweet like many of the overdone candy flavors I've had in the past.

      Cinnamon roll

I like a nice cinnamon roll e-liquid, when it's done right of course. This flavor met my expectations of what a cinnamon roll vape should taste like. It has the cinnamon, but it's paired with a light pastry flavor—very smooth. I had some issues getting it to wick properly in my pod vape, since it is 70% VG, but once I got it going, I was able to get a nice warm and flavorful vape. The Pastry Bundle is my favorite and this happens to be one of my favorite flavors from it. I think the last decent cinnamon roll flavor I had that compares to this one was from Vape Wild.

      Apple pie

I enjoyed this flavor almost as much as the cinnamon roll. It has a sweet apple filling taste combined with a pie crust flavor and they work really well together. There is a bit of spice too, probably just cinnamon, but I like it. If you've ever had Mr. Fritter by Cuttwood, I would compare this flavor to that one, which is a very popular apple pastry e-juice. If you're looking for something to replace it that won't make as big of a dent in your wallet, this is right up your alley.

      Strawberry sour belt

As soon as I was done with the blue razz, I thought it would be a smooth transition into strawberry. And I was right. The base of both flavors seem to be a similar sour gummy profile. It's pretty solid. Not very sweet or sour, but it does have a nice strawberry gummy taste to it. Nothing fancy, but if you're looking for a straight up strawberry sour belt flavor, this one is worth a shot. (Especially considering the price) It's just a well-executed candy strawberry candy flavor. If you like strawberries like me, you'll probably also appreciate their Strawberry Lovers bundle.

      Vanilla custard

Vanilla custard is a must have flavor for most dessert lovers like me. It was no surprise to find this flavor in the Dessert Lover's bundle. I would compare it to Killer Kustard and a lot of the more popular custards out there. It actually has a very strong vanilla taste, which is sometimes less present in other custard blends. It isn't overly sweet, but considering that it is a vanilla custard, it is one of the sweeter flavors out of the ones that I've tried from Dollar E-Juice. If you enjoy this flavor profile, it is probably going to hit the spot for you. I'm digging it, even though it's a relatively simple flavor compared to their slightly more complex ones.

      Apple watermelon menthol

As I’ve stated earlier, menthol generally isn’t my thing, especially when it’s blended with fruit. There are always some exceptions. In any case, I’m sure there are people out there wondering about their iced blends. Apple watermelon menthol is a nice fruity flavor paired with a menthol kick. The menthol isn’t too dominant, but it creates a chilly exhale without getting in the way of the flavors too much. I have to admit, even though I’m not a fan, it is a surprisingly refreshing combination. If you’re looking for an iced watermelon flavor with a splash of apple, this flavor is probably going to appeal to you.

      Berry peach menthol

I tend to put all fruit menthol vapes into a similar category. But I was surprised how different this flavor was from the Apple watermelon menthol, even having vaped them both in the same tank. Nope. This one has a very distinct taste, despite being a menthol flavor. The menthol in these flavors just adds that cooling effect, rather than a strong minty taste. The peach actually stands out the most for me, but the berry flavor gives it some depth and character. It almost reminds me of a sour peach ring blended with berries and menthol. It’s not my favorite, but I could see it being popular with fans of menthol fruit.

      Verdict

I have to admit, I wasn’t expecting so much from some dollar juice. I ended up getting smacked with some serious flavor! I primarily tested the flavor profiles that appeal to me to begin with, but they all seem to be well executed. If you’re into desserts, you can’t go wrong with that Pastry Heaven bundle. There was not one flavor that I didn’t like from that particular bundle. I would also recommend their strawberry lemonade, rainbow candy and blue raspberry sour belt to people who like tangy fruit flavors.

The best part is that you can spend a few bucks and try them out for yourself. Once you find the flavors that you like the most, their bundles are a fantastic way to stock up, especially with their updated prices. With a hundred flavors to choose from, I think it’s safe to say you will discover at least one all-day vape.
