Asvape Strider 75W Box Mod Intro
With new vape products hitting the market almost daily and more and more vape manufacturers clambering for space in the retail market, it is becoming increasingly important to make products that instantly stand out in the crowd.
Asvape is a late entry into the manufacturing scene and they have adopted a strategy that combines high quality construction with a statement design – with many of their mods boasting stabilized wood accents or bespoke graphic illustrations.
The Strider 75W Box Mod is their flagship device within the mid-wattage output range and with a retail price of $100 plus, but it still needs to prove its worth in this grouping.

The Asvape Strider 75W Box Mod is a variable wattage device in the mid-wattage power category and has a maximum output power of 75 watts (80 watts upgrade is available online).
The device flaunts an authentic, carbon fiber finish with a solid, C-Frame chassis construction and this aesthetic is further enhanced by unusual, crystalline operating buttons and an exclusive, sapphire glass display screen that is both clear and easy to read.
In terms of functionality, the installed VO Chipset supports a variety of user customizations that includes built-in safety protections and a selection of operating modes. Unfortunately, users may find the menu operation unnecessarily complex and there is likely to be some trial and error before you finally master the art of the installed operating system.
A unique feature of this device is its single battery operation, which is designed to accommodate 26650 cells specifically but includes an 18650 battery adapter for additional versatility. In addition to this, the larger battery compartment also means that users can easily match the mod to an atomizer of up to 30 mm with no overhang visible at any angle.
There is no doubt that Asvape has paid careful attention to the decorative elements of this mod and it is very likely that these high-end features have contributed to a fair portion of its hefty price tag. However, if you consider the old adage, “You get what you pay for”, then there is no doubt that a well-made device will ultimately cost you a little more.
For veteran vapers,
and if you have the cash to spare, then why not? If you are simply starting out on the other hand, then this is really a rather extravagant choice that is probably a bit over the top.
