Halo Vapor SYNIX 30000

The HALO SYNIX 30000 is a disposable vape that offers the basic functionality of a smartphone. When paired with a phone, it can access calls and texts, take pictures, display local weather, play music, and more. It features a color touchscreen, a 1000 mAh battery, three power modes, and is available in 0% and 5% nicotine.

Product intro and specs

Remember when disposables were the most basic devices on the market? No settings, screens, or adjustability; just inhale to vape? Well, things aren’t so simple anymore.

As competition increases, manufacturers are forced to innovate to stand out. It began with modest upgrades like boost mode and adjustable airflow, but in 2025, the technology has reached staggering heights. Enter the Hello SYNIX 30000: a disposable vape with the functionality of a smartphone.

This device seems to do everything: phone calls, texts, social media, music, weather, games, and much more. It’s so feature-rich that I often forget that it vapes, too. I suppose the obvious question is: is this advanced functionality necessary for a disposable product? No, of course not. But it’ll certainly turn some heads, which may be the whole point.

I have tried only one flavor out of the 30 currently available, so this review will be more focused on the device's smartphone features. I’ll break down the device’s capabilities, how to use it, and how well it functions. Does the Hello SYNIX offer any useful innovation, or should it be chalked up as a total gimmick? Keep reading to find out.

Price: $16.99 (5% nicotine version at Vape Sourcing) / $16.99 (0% nicotine version at Element Vape)
Flavors: Berry bliss, black cherry, blackberry blueberry, blueberry ice, blueberry cotton candy, blueberry mint, blueberry watermelon, cherry strawberry raspberry, cherry twist, cool mint, fruit blast, grape apple, gummy bear, Hawaiian shaved ice, juicy peach, Mexican mango, Miami mint, orange kiss, peach mango watermelon, pina colada, pink slush, raspberry peach lime, raspberry rizz, sour apple ice, spearmint, strawberry colada, strawberry ice, strawberry kiwi, strawberry swag, watermelon ice

Note

The device tested for this review was made by HALO VAPOR, but the company appears to have since changed its name to HELLO SYNIX. The newer SYNIX 30000 disposables have been rebranded and may include upgrades and additional features not mentioned in this review.

Size, look, and feel

When I first cracked open the Hello SYNIX 30000, the build quality immediately impressed me. I’ve become accustomed to plastic disposables, but the chassis of the SYNIX is predominantly metal, which lends a more premium feel. It’s incredibly robust and well-machined. I think it’s fair to say that this is one of the nicest disposables I’ve tested over the past year, second only to the NEXA ULTRA 50K.

Unfortunately, the slick design is spoiled when you flip the device over. The back panel is fully encompassed by a futuristic cyborg graphic, which varies depending on the flavor. The print quality may be excellent, but the image cheapens the device’s classy aesthetic. More importantly, it looks undeniably juvenile.

The airflow slider, speaker, USB-C charging port, and button are located at the bottom of the device. These features are slightly recessed, which minimizes the possibility of accidentally pressing the button or adjusting the airflow when you set the device down.

The screen quality won’t match your smartphone, but it’s one of the best I’ve ever seen on a disposable device. It’s large, the colors are crisp and bright, and the animations (while not appealing to me) look good. The touchscreen is also surprisingly responsive. Again, it’s inferior to a smartphone (this is especially noticeable when playing games) but still pretty snappy. It functions as well as my $70 smartwatch, which is impressive for a device in this price range.

Features and functions

The Hello SYNIX 30000 may be the smartest disposable vape on the planet. This thing is fully loaded! I spent a solid hour digging through and testing the various apps, features, and settings, and I still feel like there’s more to uncover. Here’s a quick rundown of what it’s capable of:

Apps and features

  • Phone
  • Messages
  • Music player (integrated speaker)
  • Stopwatch
  • Weather
  • Calculator
  • WeChat
  • Facebook messages
  • Twitter
  • WhatsApp
  • Games
  • Find my phone (lookup)
  • Camera remote
  • Smoking cessation assistant (in the app)

Adjustable settings

  • Power levels (low, medium, high)
  • Display brightness
  • Menu style
  • Time and date
  • Custom wallpapers
  • Sound (on or off)
  • Screen (on or off)
  • Bluetooth (on or off)
  • Language
  • Light time
  • System erase

Again, it’s important to remember that this is a disposable vape, not a smartphone. The apps and features may look enticing but are limited in functionality.

One of the most glaring drawbacks is the speaker: it works, but the sound quality is poor. I honestly can’t see myself ever using this device for phone calls or music (maybe if I were desperate, but I’d still be reluctant). I’ve also encountered a few bugs, such as the inability to access some of my contacts or recent texts. Lastly, some Bluetooth apps have randomly stopped working, even when the device was still paired with my phone.

It’s possible that some of these issues have been remedied with the newer HELLO SYNIX devices, but we are unable to confirm.

How to use

Unlike most disposables, operating the SYNIX 30K is far from intuitive. Much like switching from iOS to Android, getting comfortable with the interface may take time. Unfortunately, a user manual is not included, but I’ve put together a quick-start guide to simplify the process for new users:

  • Hold the button to turn the device on or off (a swipe is also required to power off)
  • When powered on, press the button or double-tap the screen to wake up the device
  • From the home screen:
    • Swipe down to access the basic menu
      • Swipe up to exit
    • Swipe up to access the full range of apps and settings
      • Swipe right to exit
    • Swipe right to change the background display
    • Swipe left to access the QR code, power settings, games, music, and phone
  • Note: you can always press the button to return to the home screen. If you are already on the home screen, pressing the button will turn off the display.

How to connect to your phone

Compared to other Bluetooth disposables I’ve used, the SYNIX 30000 seems to offer the most painless connection process. Download the app (Hi Yan Pro), search for your device, and pair. Easy! The following is a detailed breakdown, but you can jump to the last step if you download the app first:

  • Wake up the device
  • Swipe left to view the QR code and scan it with your phone
  • Download the Hi Yan Pro app
  • Open the app
    • From the home screen, click to search for your device (or scan the QR code) to pair
    • The device will display “Bluetooth connected” if successful

How to disconnect from your phone

A common concern with products like the Hello SYNIX is removing all remnants of your data before disposing of it. Thankfully, the process is straightforward with this device:

  • From the home screen, swipe down to access the basic menu
    • Select the gear (settings) icon
    • Click “erase & dispose”
    • Confirm factory restore

After that, unpair the device within your phone’s Bluetooth settings. You may also want to open the Hi Yan Pro app and click “delete current device” (and confirm).

Hello SYNIX 30000 flavors

Vaping360 placeholder image

The Hello SYNIX 30000 is currently available in 30 flavors. This assortment mainly consists of fruit and ice blends, including fan favorites such as Mexican mango, Miami mint, and sour apple ice (surprisingly, no blue razz). However, if you’re bored with the typical flavor lineup, you may appreciate some of their unique blends, like Hawaiian shaved ice, strawberry colada, blueberry cotton candy, and raspberry peach lime.

Unfortunately, the only flavor available to me while preparing for this review was blueberry mint, so my impressions are especially limited. I suspect there’s a reason this was the last option on the shelf: it’s not very good. The mint flavor is highly unusual (possibly containing a hint of anise) and doesn’t harmonize well with the blueberry. If I needed a palate cleanser or change of pace, this might hit the spot, but it’s not something I’m inclined to reach for throughout the day. On a positive note, it’s not overly sweet or icy like many disposables, which some users will likely appreciate.

Verdict

My experience with the Hello SYNIX 30000 has been a mixed bag. For the most part, it delivers on its promises, but it functions more like a smartwatch than a smartphone. Most apps and features are incredibly stripped-down; they may suffice in a pinch but are inferior substitutions for the real thing.

On a positive note, some features, such as the weather, calculator, and camera remote, are surprisingly handy. The find-my-phone feature is also a great idea, but it rarely works (for me). Regardless, I suspect many users will become disillusioned with this device after about 20 minutes. Its capabilities are fascinating, but most don’t offer much value in real-world settings.

Ultimately, the SYNIX 30K offers a solid vape experience, excellent build quality, a large selection of flavors (even if the one I received wasn’t particularly enjoyable), and holds 28 mL of e-liquid. For those reasons alone, I think it’s a decent buy. The additional functionality (assuming you find any of it useful or entertaining) is just a bonus.
