Rofvape Warlock Z-Box 233W Intro

From a collaboration between Rofvape and Tonino Vaper comes the Z-Mod, a 233W box that is also an homage to one of Spain’s most revered legends: Zorro.

The Z-Box is a compact and elegant box, covered in luxurious leather, and emblazoned with the unmistakeable “Z”. The embossed leather cover is hand-trimmed and meticulously fitted to each box, giving the mod a super hand feel and grip.

Power is provided by two 18650 batteries, easily installed via a hinged door with a secure locking tab on the bottom of the mod. Though there is a USB port on the front panel, the manufacturer suggests charging your batteries with an external charger.

Don’t be fooled by this compact and elegant exterior: inside lurks the heart of a beast, and with 233W of available variable vaping power, the Z-Mod should handle any of your most demanding multi-coil 25mm tanks and RDAs with ease.

Want to do temp control? No problem. The Z-Box will oblige, using nickel, titanium, stainless steel, or ceramic heating elements.

It appears that no detail has been left to chance on the Z-Box, from the CNC- machined fire button to the rugged stainless steel 510 connector with a gold-plated copper center pin.

The Z-Box ensures a safe vaping experience by offering six different protections, including:

  • Low battery
  • Overcharge
  • Short circuit
  • Overtime
  • Over temperature
  • Low voltage

Early information suggests that the Z-Mod will be available in a variety of embossed leather textures (calf, crocodile, carbon fiber) and colors. Retail price is around $40.

Wrap It Up

The Z-Box looks to combine serious vaping power with top-quality materials and hand craftsmanship. It even has a five-year warranty. I’m not sure how they can safely pull off a true maximum of 233W with two 18650 batteries, so we’ll have to wait and see about the actual performance.

The box is undeniably appealing from an aesthetic standpoint, with nice clean lines and minimal branding. In the pictures it’s a real beauty.

I have seen and used leather wrapped mods, and currently have a Lost Vape Triade. The leather provides great hand feel but it is personally not my first choice due to durability concerns. Mine’s a table queen anyway, so it’s a moot point, but if you’re planning on taking it out and about, you might think twice about a leather-wrapped mod.

Regardless, Rofvape and Tonino Vaper appear to be offering one hell of a nice, compact mod that is thoughtfully designed — though we’ll have to wait and see what all of this opulent vaping goodness will cost. I know I’d love to get my hands on one.
