Vandy Vape Govad RDA Preview | The Next RDA to Know

From the same designer that gave us some Geekvape favorites comes the Govad RTA

Vandy Vape Govad RDA Intro

We’ve seen it before. An artist gets cocky and decides to put out a solo work. Often the effort is less than stellar, or flat out sucks…I’m thinking David Lee Roth.

Well, Stefen Zhang, the Geekvape team member that brought us the Griffin and Avocado is trying his solo hand with Vandy Vapes. Formed late last year, Vandy Vapes has recently announced the Govad RDA as their initial offering, and unlike Mr. Roth, it looks like Stefen may have a hit.

The Govad deck kind of looks like a Hadaly deck with dual airflow inlets on either side, but it adds dual bottom air inlets that hit the coil(s) directly from underneath. The nice part is that all of the airflow options can be used concurrently or independently, giving you a lot of options.

The other feature that jumps out is the spring-loaded clamp system. We’ve seen it on the Pharoah RTA and it should make building the Govad a breeze, especially with a large single coil.

The Govad will ship with three wide bore drip tips in black delrin and a 510 adapter. And if basic black doesn’t work for you – the Govad will eagerly accept standard Goon drip tips. Oh yeah.

Sure as the wind blows

(Govad in Persian refers to “wind” or angel of wind.)

The Govad looks like a nice RDA capable of delivering a satisfying vaping experience to a wide array of users. Close the side ports and use the more restrictive bottom air for a denser flavor experience. Open the side slots and let the wind blow for those hotter builds and more vapor. It looks like the Govad will be most comfortable wearing a single coil, but I’m sure there will be ways of getting duals under the cap.

Besides that, the Govad looks good. Early reviews are praising the machining and fit, which looks very nice in pics and video. Thankfully, the logos are well done and tasteful, which is a pet peeve of mine.

I’m hoping Mr. Zhang will bring the same affordable quality and consistency to Vandy Vapes as we’ve seen from Geekvape, and it sure looks like they are charging out of the gate with the Govad.
