Expertly engineered to withstand a few knocks
The Tank T2 is a powerful 160-Watt box mod from AIMIDI, built for combat.
While not overly bulky, its stainless steel and polymer alloy construction makes it notably heavier than average, weighing in at a hefty, 321.5g. The hard-wearing rectangular chassis is further reinforced by ballistic bezels and metal armor sides and the inclusion of an “impact truss” – usually seen in roof building – which safeguards the device against accidental damages.
This, combined with the waterproof decompression holes makes this device comparable to the new Aegis 100W Box Mod from Geek Vape. Both devices similarly promotes its robust, waterproof design as a main selling point. Although the Tank T2 offers higher power capabilities when compared to its leading competitor, the supporting TX 160W chipset may have a long way to go in order to meet the high-end functionality of the Geek Vape Aegis.
