Sigelei Fuchai Vcigo K2 Box Mod Kit Intro
The Sigelei Fuchai relationship has spawned a handful of box mod releases within this year alone. By staying at the forefront of vape innovation and current trends, they have been successful in cementing their place within the industry and continue to prove that they are not afraid to “think outside of the box”.
The recently introduced Vcigo K2 Box Mod Kit, is surely evidence of this and while its “toy-like” appearance may not excite everyone as much, we probably shouldn’t dismiss it just yet…

Wait don’t fire!
Every vape brand has a tendency towards a specific design style. The Sigelei/Fuchai partnership is no different, with the mods in the series typically featuring a side facing, TFT color display screen and adopting a sturdy, zinc alloy chassis construction.
The Vcigo K2 Kit includes both of these identifying design features but is otherwise a departure from their traditional design style and has an almost “toy like” appearance. This stylistic choice is a reflection of the current trend towards gaming-inspired creations and appears to be an attempt to appeal to a notably younger crowd. Think hipsters and millennials and you get the picture…right, enough said!
Another fascinating feature of this design is the inclusion of TWO independent, pacman-shaped firing buttons on the main chassis. Whereas one firing button is located alongside the menu adjustment buttons on the side panel, the other sits just underneath the top ledge – an ideal position for vapers who favor their “trigger fingers” for operation.
It is almost as if Fuchai have purposely copied the design and functionality of traditional gaming controllers as a means of relating to a completely different target market. However, we cannot help but wonder whether they have considered the practicality of dual firing buttons and understood what this really means for the user in terms of safety and portability. Since the specs don’t mention anything along these lines…we certainly hope it is not an oversight on their part.
Nonetheless, the mod itself is quite powerful – with a maximum 175-watt output level. Plus, it offers a full suite of functionality including various operating modes as well as native support for most coil configurations. It comes paired with a custom-made, cube-shaped RDA, in a matching color, and has a basic, dual post build deck and dual side airflow control. The atomizer sits perfectly flush on the mod and is a great tie in to the general look and feel.
While this “youthful” and funky device is not for everyone, it appears to be a sturdy and good quality addition to the line and there are bound to be plenty of vapers who will appreciate its controller like functionality and bright, crayon-like appearance.
