Zamplebox Platinum Review

Zamplebox Platinum Intro

There are just so many e-liquid companies out there, actually, there are too many. There is just way too many flavors to choose from, and a lot of them aren’t even good. As vapers, our job is to sift through the crap to find that “holy grail”, without getting vaper’s tongue in the process.

Discovering new flavors is fun, don’t get me wrong, but sometimes you just don’t have time for all that. Zamplebox is a subscription service that delivers a box of e-liquid to your house each month. The boxes are customized based on the information that you give them when you join.

We are going to go into more detail about each step of the way, but basically you tell Zamplebox what flavors you like, and which ones you don’t like and they have an algorithm that will select your e-liquids based on that profile. You can also manually add bottles to your Zamplebox too.

Now I am going to walk you through the process and help you to create your own custom flavor profile with Zamplebox. Honestly it was super easy and only took a few minutes for me. You can also always go back and change it each month based on what you are currently in the mood for.

Notable Remarks

Zamplebox Platinum is $44.95 a month for 11 different bottles of e-liquid

Other packages include:

Zamplebox Silver – 3 bottles for $19.99
Zamplebox Gold – 6 bottles for $24.99

Step 1 – Choose your experience level

Step One
Step One

Zamplebox breaks down vapers into three main categories: beginner, intermediate and advanced. I am definitely more of an advanced user but it is nice to see how they cater to everyone whether you are vaping on an eGo stick battery or a competition mechanical mod.

I think this part will help determine what type of VG/PG ratios you will receive. Beginners will probably get more PG in their blends while more advanced users will get higher VG juice.

Step 2 – Build your flavor profile

Step Two
Step Two

The next step is telling Zamplebox which categories of flavors you prefer. They break it all down into Tobacco, Menthol, Fruit and Dessert. You can choose one or all four types of e-liquid. I am going to stick with Fruit and Dessert flavors, not really a big fan of tobacco or menthol e-juice.

Step 3 – Choose flavors you like

Step Four
Step Four

This step takes your flavor profile a little bit further and more in depth, although it is optional. Some vapers are going to skip this step, while others are going to thoroughly select all of the flavors that they like, even though you can actually spend all day going through this.

The more flavors you select, the more suggestions you will get. The more details the better. I would recommend spending at least a good amount of time on this and the next step….

Step 4 – Choose flavors you do not like

Step Three
Step Three

This is just like the previous step, except now you are telling Zamplebox which flavors you do not want. They will suggest some of the more unpopular flavor profiles such as licorice and absinthe for example. This is one of the most important parts in my opinion so I would not skip this step!

Step 5 – Choose your nicotine strength and package

Step Five
Step Five

Last but not least, tell Zamplebox which nic strength and package you prefer, I chose 3mg and went all out with the Platinum. Ok, now that we are done we have to just wait for the delivery. I can’t wait to receive my box!

The green box arrived! Only took a few days for the shoebox to come, but there are definitely no shoes in here. I’ll admit, I’m very excited to open it up and see what’s inside. I skimmed through some of the flavor descriptions, but to make this review even more fun, I’m going in blindfolded.

First thing I see when I opened the box was an awesome sticker and my flavor menu, which I will not be needing right now. It is time to go through this box and have a little vape on each one. I went with the Platinum package so there are 11 different bottles of juice that I am going to try.

I think it’s also worth mentioning how fast it came. My Zamplebox was delivered in a few days!

The Juice

Candy Land - Reece

I am kind of overwhelmed with all of these bottles of juice. Where do I even begin? I am going to start by just dripping some of these flavors in my atty to see how well these flavors match my profile. Below are a list of some of the flavors that I had enjoyed the most.

Reece’s Dream by Candy Land Liquid

Are you kidding me!? One of my favorite treats has always been Reese’s peanut butter cups and these guys nailed it, just in time for Halloween. This was by far my favorite juice in the collection and my favorite chocolate vape of all time!

This was a nice little surprise, I was not expecting a chocolate peanut butter flavor. I think I found a new all day vape. Even if I don’t like any of the other juices, I’m glad I found this one!

Freemason by ConsiracE

Who doesn’t like a good conspiracy theory? I know I sure do. This e-liquid has some intriguing labeling going on but more importantly, how does it taste? Definitely some kind of apple going on with a nice hint of donut and cake batter mixed with maple syrup. I don’t know if I would call this an all day vape, but I can definitely see myself vaping it quite often.

Purple Nurple by G2 Vapor

This was actually a juice that I was just looking at online the other day. I loved the name, and any grape-flavored e-liquid is worth trying at least once. I am not crazy about the slight floral taste that this one has, but it is still a nice grape candy e-liquid. Worth a shot for grape lovers.

The rest

The other juices that I enjoyed were Banana Slamma by D Squared, Front St by Cape Fear and Crimson by Serum. The rest were not bad at all, with the exception of only about one or two.

The Sub-ohm Apple by Twisted Drips was a little bit disappointing for me because I am a huge fan of the Twisted Messes RDA. It just had this funny taste that reminds me of clay. (Don’t ask how I know what clay tastes like.)

The Apple Fritter by Hot Vapes is a spicy apple pastry, that is very different from the Apple Fritter by Pastry Boy, which I was vaping on recently. It has a hot and spicy cinnamon and quite honestly, I am not sure how I feel about this e-liquid yet. I like it, but at the same time it is pretty intense.

Overall I would say at least more than half of the e-liquids that I got in my Zamplebox are something that I could see myself buying. The ones that I didn’t like will be passed on to friends who will enjoy them so I don’t feel like it was a total waste. It’s actually a great way to discover new juice flavors.

My friend orders from this online store/club that has these discount bundles every month. They usually lump together a few e-liquids that each share a common theme. E.g. – taffy, strawberry, cereal, etc. He typically buys the bundle for one or two juices and then just endures the rest.

At the end of the day, my friend basically pays about the same price for his juice per mL. The only difference is that he gets what he gets, and it is not based on his customized flavor profile. Now that you can manually add juice to your Zamplebox, it makes even more sense to try it out.

Are you going to still get juice that you don’t like, even after spending 15 minutes customizing your flavor profile? Sure. Computers are not perfect, but it is impressive how close they can get. I’d recommend for everyone to at least go through the steps to see what they choose for you….

I’ve been utterly disappointed by these. I had two months of subscriptions and each time every single juice was atrocious, to the extent that I am certain Zamplebox are essentially an industry outlet for stock that won’t move (because it is bad) marketed well as a “lucky dip” type of affair.

I’m not alone in this belief either. Shockingly bad. Vapemail is far and away much better.

Lol just diy and you can have any flavor you want and save so much money.
