Vapeabox Intro

Today I take a look at the UK based e-juice subscription service Vapeabox. Vapeabox specializes in premium e-juice packs but also offers juice and hardware too, however for this review I will be focusing on the e-juice only boxes.

How to order your vapeabox service

Vapeabox's Different Subscribtion Models
Vapeabox's Different Subscribtion Models

Ordering a subscription box is very simple and straightforward; it only takes 2-3 minutes to complete.

First of all you need to select which box you want, gold, silver or bronze. I went for the gold option.

Next you need to select your nicotine level with options ranging from 0mg up to 18mg. I like the added option of the 3mg to allow those using nicotine whilst also subohming to have the right nicotine level.

Then you have to select which flavours you would like, unfortunately there aren’t too many options which is a slight negative for me as I couldn’t customize my flavour profile to how I would have liked. The options to choose from are; beverage, confectionary, fruit, nut & spice and tobacco. I felt this was slightly limiting in deciding which flavours you would like and much fewer options than other subscription services like Zamplebox.

Finally you can select your PG/VG preference. I felt this was a good feature as you can customize your juices that bit more; if you need heavier VG juices you can select that. If you’re not bothered you can select the ‘Not Fussed’ option and have a mix of VG and PG based juices.

What you get in the Gold vapeabox:

  • Cuttwood, Unicorn Milk, 16.5ml
  • Breakfast Club, Apple Snaxx, 30ml
  • The Milkman, 30ml
  • Drippa Jam, Blueberry Yogo, 15ml
  • Charlie’s Chalk Dust, Sugar & Knife, 15ml
  • The Mad Alchemist, Custard Matter, 15ml
  • Ma Ma’s Juice, Breakfast time, 30ml

My gold vapeabox package came very promptly with no postal issues. It came securely packaged. Upon opening the box I was greeted with 7 bottles of e-juice in 2 small pouches surrounded by what appeared to be fake hay. This was a nice feature and gave the box some character whilst also offering protection to the juices during transport. None of my bottles were cracked and all were full to the brim of e-juice. I have heard of other subscription services having problems with leaking or even the breaking of juice bottles when in transit.

All the e-juices were from premium brands; notable ones include unicorn milk from Cuttwood, Milkman and Blueberry Yogo courtesy of Drippa Jam. My personal favourites were Apple Snaxx by The Breakfast Club, a smooth cinnamon and apple combination and Blueberry Yogo by Drippa Jam, a creamy blueberry vape. All the juices were great tasting and produced nice dense clouds, I went for the VG heavy selection, although not all the juices came in my preferred nicotine level. I selected the 0mg option however about half of the juices came in 3mg strength. Whilst this wasn’t too much of an issue, I feel it is a negative towards vapeabox. I feel that if you order a certain nicotine strength, you should get your e-juices in that desired nicotine level.

Verdict

This was my first experience with an e-juice subscription service and I have to say I was very impressed! I had heard mixed reviews about similar services and so I was intrigued to find out what vapeabox had to offer.

The service as a whole was very efficient. With minimal stages to go through to select your box and a speedy delivery time vapeabox gets the thumbs up on this part from me!

I was pleasantly surprised when the package came to my door. It was a quick and prompt service only taking a couple of days from ordering to arriving. For those of you in the UK I would recommend sticking with UK based services for the faster delivery time.

The juices I received were well packaged and were all very flavourful and produced plenty of vapour. However I was slightly disappointed that the nicotine strength I selected wasn’t completely provided with about half of the bottles being a higher strength than I had asked for. This dampened my experience somewhat.

Would I sign up to vapeabox again? Yes, I would definitely sign up again however I think I may opt for the silver or bronze option as the gold box gave me a bit too much juice to get through in one month and is on the expensive side! I would also love to try some of the mod and juice combination boxes vapeabox offers as well!

Overall there really isn’t much to say negatively about vapeabox. Plenty of well known premium juice lines, fast delivery and fantastic packaging vapeabox is certainly a winner in my eyes! It was unfortunate my nicotine strength wasn’t catered for however I feel that the rest of the service more than makes up for this slight flaw. I would definitely recommend vapeabox to anyone in the UK looking to try out a subscription service.

  • The price points aren’t too bad, and the free UK shipping is a bonus but a lot of these sites lack the feature of users being able to say what flavours they’re not keen on (from within a flavour group) after they’ve tried the product.

I like fruit flavours, but I don’t like Strawberry…what do I do if they send me one?

I’ll wait a few months until someone invests some real time and real effort to make good service.

    • That is true, but I am sure you can blast them an e-mail and they can get something sorted for you.

      • Good point, I’m sure a quick email here or there would probably do the job but automating the process would reduce the chance of emails not being actioned.

The markets moving fast, very fast…it won’t be long until someone puts in some real time and effort to make an all singing, all dancing subscription service.

        • That would be a game changer, yet still to be found. Thanks for your feedback Alex!

Hey. I’m a uk vape and am torn between vapeabox and zamplebox but there are a couple others like sizzle box and vapeacrate that caught my attention. This would be my first subscription service. Any ideas which one would be best?

Bit late to the party, but out of interest, with the new TPD regulations coming into effect in 3 days time, should I hold off on a subscription service, given that the new “maximum” amount of juice that can be provided is 10ml?
