Product intro and specs
The SKE CL2000 is the sophisticated evolution of the popular SKE Bar. Take everything that worked with the original and upgrade it. The new CL2000 brings improved flavor performance, double the liquid capacity, increased battery life, and a more user-friendly design. There are even four new flavors.
Although this is a prefilled pod vape, it fits in the current vaping landscape as adjacent to disposables, which is why it looks reminiscent of a UK disposable. With the UK disposable vape ban now in effect, the CL2000 represents a more waste-conscious alternative to disposables. Think of the SKE CL2000 as a bridge between the simplicity of disposable vapes and the reusability and more eco-friendly platform of a pod system.
New to the SKE CL2000 design is an innovative dual-pod system where one pod visibly feeds the other. The total liquid capacity stands now at 4 mL in total (1.8 mL internal pod + 2.2 mL refill pod), with an upgraded battery to 850 mAh. UK vapers can rejoice.
Let's check out the new SKE CL2000. If you already use the SKE Bar, should you try this? Even without reading the review, the answer is yes. Let me explain why.

Size, look, and feel
The SKE CL2000 takes the transparent look of the SKE Bar and gives it a more polished look. The fluted, crystal-like shell adds some texture and style without going over the top. It’s modern but still simple. Although the device looks like a consistent circular column, it tapers off to a flat front and backside near the mouthpiece, which is how the pods are secured in (they won’t slip out or rotate).
At 59 grams, it’s heavier than the original (35 grams,) but the extra weight feels right. It gives the device a premium feel in the hand while still being easy to carry around. The larger size also houses an 850 mAh battery, which means you’re getting better performance with these physical upgrades—including a new pod swap design that makes carrying multiple flavors more practical.
The mouthpiece is great and hints at its performance. It’s a 6 mm flat tip that makes it comfortable to use and perfect for a long, steady pull. Yeah, this isn’t the device to take a tootle puff on. The CL2000 is a flavor beast that wants to be unleashed!
A small but important change is the placement of the flavor names. Instead of being tucked against the darker inside like before, they’re now printed right on the feed tank (mouthpiece). If you’re swapping pods and batteries at home, you’ll appreciate knowing which flavor your grabbing.
Getting started
Inside the box, you’ll find three pieces: the battery (preloaded with a dummy pod), the feeder pod, and the main pod/atomizer. The dummy pod is only there to keep the battery clean during shipping. You can toss it or keep it as a cover if you plan to store the battery later.
What’s left is the two real pods and the battery. Pull out the orange plug from the main black pod (the one with the atomizer and 1.8 mL chamber) and remove other plugs from the other pod.
Now you attach the two pods. If it’s not aligned properly, the parts won’t push together---just rotate them until the male and female ends meet. Once assembled, push it all the way into the battery and you’re ready to vape. The main pod comes pre-primed, so there’s no need to wait. When the pod is empty, pull firmly on the mouthpiece to remove it from the battery.
Since the transparent mouthpiece now doubles as the feeder pod, you get a clear view of how much liquid you have left. With the SKE Bar, you had no way of knowing until you took a puff—sometimes on an empty device (producing a burnt hit). With the CL2000, there’s less guesswork. Kudos to SKE for the upgrade.
*Note: I said “less guesswork” because once the feeder pod is empty, you still have liquid left that’s sitting in the bottom (black) main pod. As to when that one is empty, you’ll be back to guesswork. The best practice is to be mindful of how long it took to see the 2 mL in the tank go from full to empty, then imagine you have about that much time left, give or take.
How does it hit?
Compared to the SKE Bar, the SKE CL2000 comes with a significant improvement in flavor performance. I don’t know the atomizer resistance of the CL2000 compared to the 1.2-ohm coil of the SKE Bar, but I’m fairly certain this device is just pushing more power (probably a lower resistance coil).
While the SKE Bar offered a "moderately loose MTL" draw, the CL2000 has a greater draw range, ranging from a loose MTL to a restricted lung hit depending on the velocity of your draw. Remember how I said this the mouthpiece hints at wanting to be unleashed? Go ahead, take a bigger hit! The SKE CL2000 will put out.
Besides the flavor, another noticeable improvement is the throat hit. Despite having the same 20 mg/mL nicotine strength, the larger battery capacity allows for a more substantial hit. I’m almost positive that if I was forced by the government to reduce my nicotine to 20 mg/mL, the CL2000 would be my best chance at satisfaction.
I’ve had no issues at all and I’m thoroughly enjoying the vape.
SKE CL2000 best flavors
With 20 flavor options available, including four new additions (spring berry, choc mint, med citrus tart, and lemon sour fudge), the CL2000 offers something for almost everyone. I’m impressed with the flavors overall. Although I had most of the flavors in the SKE Bar, they taste better out of the CL2000. It’s that extra power.
These five flavors are the ones I liked the most.
Lemon sour fudge (new flavor): My favorite flavor. It didn’t sound appealing to me at first, but I tried it and went nuts on it! A little tart with a hint of the smooth sweetness of chocolate. I doubt that sounds as good as it tastes.
Strawberry ice: A straightforward ice flavor with a bright and sweet strawberry. Very pleasant. The ice level is about medium.
Peach ice: Maybe my second favorite. It’s a light and sweet peach flavor that you can identify without even reading the label. The ice level is about medium.
Pink lemonade: A safe choice if you can’t decide what to get. It’s got this mouthwatering sweet/tart thing going on that’s addictive.
Watermelon ice: When I’m looking for a device, I see this flavor and grab it. No deliberation. It’s bright and sweet, with the faint aroma of watermelon. Slightly colder ice than others in the line.
How long does it last?
The SKE CL2000 lasts about twice as long as the original Bar, which makes sense given the doubled capacity.
Left to my own devices, I could finish the CL2000 in a single day—honestly, probably within an hour. But under TPD limits, usage patterns will play out differently. With that in mind, I could probably stretch these out to a couple of days if it meant saving money.
Since the CL2000 runs on an 850 mAh rechargeable battery, the entire life of the 4 mL will be spent on that one charge. With the Bar, I sometimes had to recharge just to get those last puffs. With the CL2000, the battery usually lasts longer than the pod itself.
Charging is straightforward. When the CL2000 battery dies, it stops producing vapor and a small white light flashes at the base of the device. Plug it in with a USB-C cable.

Verdict
I give the SKE CL2000 a 5/5. There’s nothing I dislike about it. The build quality is great as an every-day carry, and the prefilled pod design is straightforward. With the 4 mL and extra battery power, you’ll get to indulge more per hit than the SKE Bar.
The bigger battery means you can actually finish a pod without scrambling to charge, and the liquid window makes it way easier to avoid burnt hits. Being able to recharge the battery and simply swap in new pods is now much more natural than it was with the SKE Bar. The icing on the cake is that the flavors are excellent and taste better than ever. The flavor catalog may be currently smaller (20 on the CL2000 vs. 35 on the Bar,) but there are four new ones you can only get with the CL2000.
What impresses me the most is the upgraded experience. It’s this simple: if you love the SKE Bar, the CL2000 will be your new favorite device. Even with the 20 mg/mL nicotine cap, I frequently take the CL2000 with me when I leave the house, instead of a 50 mg/mL disposable.
