The Adjust MySweet 40K is a versatile disposable vape that gives you control over its sweetness. Running on an 850 mAh battery and a triple mesh coil, the MySweet also has three power levels to experience its fruit and candy flavors, each prefilled with 20 mL at 5% nicotine salt.

Product intro and specs

The Adjust MySweet 40K is one of a trio of flavor-adjustable disposable vapes from Adjust, along with the MySour and MyCool. All three share the same specs: a triple mesh coil, 850 mAh USB-C rechargeable battery, status indicators for battery and liquid levels, and a 20 mL capacity of 5% nicotine salt. The main difference between the devices is the type of flavor adjustment. This time, it’s sweet!

Although I was impressed with the MySour and MyCool, I was at first skeptical of their relevance. With the MySweet, I totally get why it exists. The only question I had was whether they would be able to pull it off. Will the sweetness adjustments be noticeable? Will adding sweetness make the flavors taste better? Will it taste like artificial sweetener? Will I love it as much as the MySour? I’ll answer all those questions.

Let’s get into the details of the Adjust MySweet 40k and see how it holds up to its cool and sour counterparts.

Price: $11.99 (at Element Vape)
Flavors: Watermelon roll ups, raspberry orange, lemon heads, blue razz b-pop, wintergreen, triple berry

Size, look, and feel

The MySweet, like the MyCool and MySour, has a lightweight box-mod design measuring 102 mm x 27 mm x 9 mm. They’re built on the same C-frame body with embossed geometric patterns of more subdued colors, even for the more chromatic colorways.

Though I call it a box-mod style design, it doesn’t feel like a true box mod—it’s lightweight plastic—but the MySweet is nice to grip, and it feels familiar. The bite-friendly mouthpiece, which I may’ve just glossed over in the MySour and MySweet reviews, is one of the most comfortable I’ve used. It has this subtle indentation that nests perfectly under the center of the upper lip. It’s a minor detail, but one that enhances the experience.

Both the liquid and battery status have meter-style indicators divided into fourths. While small, they're both easy to read at a glance. I'd prefer numerical percentages, but that's personal preference. The screen is bright enough to check levels in most lighting, but it can be harder to see smaller details (like the status indicators) in direct sunlight.

When you adjust the sweetness, sugar cube graphics drop down the screen to show your sweetness levels (0-3). It’s adjusted by the square and transparent button that looks like an ice cube, which works thematically for the MyCool. Like the MySour, the ice cube-fashioned button feels like an unresolved design choice for the MySweet. That said, it’s a responsive button with a nice, soft click.

Getting started

Using the MySweet is just as simple as using the MySour and the MySweet. But remember, the device is made by Adjust! With a brand name like that, you know there are various ways to customize the experience. You can adjust the sweetness levels as well as the power and airflow.

There’s a slider switch on the bottom that powers up the MySweet, while also selecting from one of the three power modes:

  • Power Level I (MTL-ish, lowest airflow): 40k puffs
  • Power Level II (loose MTL, medium airflow): 30k puffs
  • Power Level III (looser MTL, highest airflow): 20k puffs

To adjust the sweetness, just press the side button until the screen lights up, then cycle through the levels. You can have zero sugar cubes, or up to three.

When testing the MySweet, I discovered that increasing the sweetness level boosts the power output. I had the same experience when using the MySour. I don’t know why that is exactly, but it’s a net win for the devices.

For instance, if you’re on Power Level I with no sugar cubes, the vape is the coolest and lightest hit of all the settings. By the time you add three sugar cubes, Power Level I has a fuller hit, surprisingly even fuller than Power Level II without any sugar cubes added. Play around with the sugar cubes in the various power settings to determine which hit you like most.

How does it hit?

The MySweet hits just as nicely as the MySour and MyCool. It offers a near-MTL draw on Power Level I, and it gets looser through levels II and III. The coil activation is quick and responsive while providing great flavor. The only issue I’ve had is a slightly congested sound from the coil when it’s on the lowest power settings with low or no ice cubes. These devices from Adjust like to be pushed a little. The coil shines with more power.

Just like with the MySour and MyCool, the experience changes noticeably with each additional sugar cube. Remember, this type of vape tech is still in its infancy, yet it’s no gimmick! Even the lowest sweetness adjustments make a difference in the taste.

Adjust MySweet 40K best flavors

Like the MyCool, and especially the MySour, the flavors of the MySweet taste great. They’re accurate to the descriptions, clean, vibrant, and punchy. Sometimes when I get disposable vapes, depleting a whole battery is a chore. Not with the MySweet. It takes effort for me to keep these things charged. These are the flavors I tried, in order of my favorites:

  • Raspberry orange: Tart, bright, and sweet with a tasty citrus bite on the exhale. At max sweetness, get ready to chain vape.
  • Watermelon roll ups: Bright, tangy, and nostalgic. Good without added sweetness, but amazing maxed out.
  • Lemon heads: Spot-on recipe for the well-known candies. Already tasty, but fun to push it to the sweeter side. This one has one of the widest ranges in flavor alteration with adding sweetness.
  • Blue Razz B-Pop: Sweet berry and tart blue razz. Good with added sweetness, but not necessarily needed.

Battery life and charging

With moderate use, the 850 mAh battery will last about a day. But your mileage may vary when you factor in the three power levels and added sweetness that seems to increase the power output.

Objectively speaking, the charge takes a long time to complete. The total charge time is about 100 minutes. That’s still the main con across the cool, sour, and sweet lineup. Luckily, it charges via USB-C and has pass-thru charging.

Verdict

The Adjust MySweet 40k is another winner from Adjust. I’ve enjoyed all three from the lineup. If I had to rank them, I’d say the MySour is the best, then MySweet, followed by MyCool—but honestly, it depends on the flavor.

What impressed me most about the MySweet is how natural the added sweetness tastes. Sour and cool are easier tastes to modulate in a vape. Sometimes, making vape flavors sweeter can mute nuances and make them taste off. That is not the case with the MySweet. The flavors do change a bit, but in my opinion, they change for the better.

Besides the long charge time, I’ve got nothing bad to say about these devices.

Highly recommended.
