Vandy Vape Berserker MTL RTA Preview | Set for Greatness

Vandy Vape attempt to win over the “MTL” crowd with this aspirational design.

Vandy Vape Berserker MTL RTA Intro

Many new vapers begin their vape journey as mouth to lung users. As they make the transition from smoking to vaping, the majority will switch over to a direct to lung vaping style. However, there are a large portion of users for whom MTL remains their preferred choice.

Vandy Vape has virtually neglected this demographic in their product releases to date and the Beserker MTL RTA is their attempt to gain loyal followers in this category. For this design, they have taken inspiration from vape reviewer, Alex (from VapersMD)*, which in itself suggests that they have been able to produce a product beyond critique.

However, can a vape critic really envision a truly outstanding product? Or is there really no such thing as “one size fits all” in the vape industry?

*PS: If you are in fluent in Russian, go and check out Alex’s personal YouTube review of the atomizer that he motivated.

Vandy Vape Berserker RTA specs and features

Kit Contents:
1 x Berserker MTL RTA
1 x 4.5ml glass tube
1 x Accessory bag
1 x 510 Delrin drip tip

It all comes down to airflow control

The Beserker MTL RTA is Vandy Vapes re-entry in the RTA category and it combines a 24 mm diameter base with an expandable 2 mL/4.5 mL ejuice reservoir.

The primary selling point of this atomizer is that allows the user to easily manipulate the draw on the atomizer to create an experience that is nearly identical to cigarette smoking. And while you would be 100% correct for pointing out that all MTL tanks cater for a restricted draw, this design is still notably different.

Upon closer inspection, you will see that Vandy Vape has innovated a revolutionary AFC system that allows for five different airflow settings. A feature that allows for more precise customization, compared to the more traditional two or three settings that most users are accustomed to.

This dynamic MTL tank offers more airflow options than ever before.

Added to this, the basic, single coil build deck offers DIY users the chance to craft their own sub-ohm vaping experience, without having to rely on the limitations of pre-made, stock coils. This also presents more opportunity for MTL vapers to hone their setups according to the specific flavor intensity that they enjoy.

All in all, when you combine all of these outstanding features together, it seems to add up to a winning design formula and one that all MTL vapers are going to love. Are you a MTL vaper – let us know your thoughts in the comments below.

It leaks on every refill ,
When there many other great options with usable jfc to help with refilling ,
Im liking the Cloudone v3
ST RTA by steam tuners,
Skyline and the last 3 Squape rta,s
So think this os one i will pass on many threads about the beserker leaking already

Waiting for pbusardo, and other reviewers test this, looks quite nice.

In my opinion it more depends on the size of the airhole on the deck, rather than ‘external’ airhole’s/air flow control. If it’s a big hole below the coil, even if you close the airflow right down it will still be too much for a nice MTL tank.

So i’m hoping it has a small airhole, or at least the restricter options like with the merlin-mini, the drip tip looks great for MTL, so i’ll stay hopeful 😀

It’s to bad that it’s 24mm in diameter. I think many MTL vapers like myself only use mods that fit 22mm. I’d love to try it out but I’m not buying a mod to.
